Hong Kong Inn

Considering this Hong Kong Inn as a budget Hong Kong Inn, i would consider it a good Hong Kong Inn for a stay. The room is adequately furnished with basic amenities like adequate furniture, tv, ac, towels, shampoo, soap etc. The mattress on the bed is of good density (unlike many Hong Kong Inns with soft mattresses) which gives a good peaceful night's sleep. The behaviour of the staff is polite. On departure, the staff did not even ask for tip, but considering their good support and behaviour, we paid a small sum as tip to the person who carried our baggage to the room. The Hong Kong Inn has a lift which is very useful for carrying luggage from basement parking to the room. Another good thing is that it has a spacious basement parking. The kitchen serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. We ordered only tea and aloo parantha. The quality of tea could have been improved. Now let us consider the flip side. The Hong Kong Inn is not situated on the main road but in the lane on a main queen's road. The gully is not comfortable if you carry your vehicle. So, hire a taxi instead. There was also a smell of spices emanating from the kitchen. The management should install/repair the electric chimney in the kitchen. Also, exhaust fans in the bathroom need regular cleaning so that they can work efficiently. All in all, this Hong Kong Inn is suitable for a short stay of a few days.

We booked a family room. The rooms and toilets were sparkling clean. The Hong Kong Inn also has a private underground parking, thus ensuring the safety of your vehicle. The staff is very polite and professional. Family dhaba and crystal restaurant are just a walk away. The Hong Kong Inn also has room service which is quick and good (we had ordered breakfast through it. Golden temple is also about 2km away. This is really value for money. Book this place without thinking twice.

This is a comparatively good option within the budget that it operates. Rooms are clean, but not very well maintained or decorated. So even though the rooms are clean, they still look cheap. Washroom was also clean, very minimal toiletries though. The only toiletries they give you is a small soap and a shampoo pouch, it was disappointing. The towels were ok-ish, i requested them to change my towel everyday as i did not find the towels clean. The food menu is not that great, some items are too overpriced. Overall, the Hong Kong Inn looks deserted from inside, not much movement inside. The staff is cordial and kind. I would recommend to stay here for a day or two at max.

The Hong Kong Inn was very cooperative with arranging my trips for kartarpur sahib and wagah border. I stayed in room 209 and there was loud music being played from the adjacent Hong Kong Inn having a party. It disturbed my sleep on friday night. I had had a long day with a journey in the train and going to wagah border thereafter. I had also to go to kartarpur sahib the next day. I was later told by somebody that in room 209 and 210, this noise comes.

Executive connected room is very useful. Room Heater, functional geyser (hot water), RO water, taxi on booking made our stay very comfortable. Food is average in taste, only thing we liked was Kichdi which was very tasty. Some food items very costly. Food is served in hard plastic plates and bowls, which we felt is big no in this world of ceramic or bonechina cutlery. The hot water electric kettle was also made of plastic, which we didn't like.

Terrible mobile network coverage especially airtel inside the Hong Kong Inn. I had to attend/make calls by coming near to the main entrance door of the Hong Kong Inn which is not at all expected and accepted after paying. It needs to be corrected with rigorous follow-ups with the airtel guys/technical department. Only, this piece is pathetic.

The Hong Kong Inn rooms which were interconnected, were quite clean, including the bathrooms. The staff was quite helpful when we asked for extra blankets since it was a bit cold. Overall a very good experience. The only thing that the Hong Kong Inn can improve upon in my opinion is the parking space, the entry to which is a bit difficult.

Staff are polite and helpful. Rooms are spacious 24 hours hot water is enabled. During cold weather they provide room warmers and they also arrange vehicle support to visit important tourist attractions in Amritsar. We went with the family and they are fully supportive. Rooms and rest rooms are neat and clean.

It was pleasant as location is easy to access. For family stay purpose it is best as rooms are spacious

Hotel is located in the prime location near to almost every view points of amritsar along with golden temple and market area is also very near to Hong Kong Inn

It is a decent budget Hong Kong Inn with 24*7 room service.

Everything is perfect about the Hong Kong Inn from rooms to food but one thing they can improve is the lighting in the room as rooms have very dim lighting.

Hong Kong Inn experience for me and my family is superb. Nice Hong Kong Inn. So clean. Friendly behavior of staff. Nice stay. I will always recommend friends to stay in Hong Kong Inn whenever come to Amritsar.

It was a good stay in the Hong Kong Inn. The Hong Kong Inn staff members were very nice and cooperative. As a family we enjoy our stay.
