Very beautiful place, affordable accommodation, friendly staff

The staff on site was excellent, really supportive and helpful and went above above and beyond but overall the place could use a lot of improvement in terms of basic facilities like geyser, hygiene products (soap etc), cleanliness of the facility especially bathroom and kitchen The location and setup is pretty good. Overall approach from management seems lacking and not providing adequate or basic facilities to guests. They dynamic pricing is also exorbitant and had to pay 3x to extend stay for the next day.

I stayed in hope hostel. overall the ambience and room was good. it is located near the beach. we have taken 6 stay mixed dorm. Highly recommended for solo and budget friendly travellers.

The stay was amazing and very near to varkala helipad entrance. The room was good with well maintained and cleanliness. Even after the checkout the owner provided us space for keeping our luggage as we wanted to visit the beach after their checkout time and when we came back from the beach they allowed us to use their bathrooms for taking a bath (no extra charges). The place is really nice and scenery were pretty good. They also had board games like chess, carrom, table tennis etc that we can play without paying any charges. They also had good 21 gear bicycles for 200 rupees each cycle for 24 hrs with no faults. All over very good experience.

Food was Expensive, Vibe was Good But Room should be having AC facility and proper air ventilation

Shared Ac room, bathroom, spacious extra space for hangout. Small diner, carrom, table tennis, kitchen. Not sure about washing machine. Easy access to North cliff and black sand beach.

Had a nice time, with new people and new experience

I had a terrible experience at this property. There is only one washroom shared between three dorm rooms, which means you’re constantly waiting just to use basic facilities. On top of that, the owner is extremely rude and unhelpful, making the stay even more unpleasant.

Stay is good for dorms and its easily accessible.rooms are in second floor, not so convinient. For every small thing, you need to go up and down, so that's a bit off.the balcony has the best of seaview.if maintained well this could be a better place.Location is the best of all.

the hostel is just like any other hostel ,don't expect extraordinary things. the place is located at a prime location in varkala and its value for money also, perfect for budget travelling. since I was solo travelling, as a woman I didn't faced any issues safety wise, even in mixed dorm. bathroom is a challange, they had 2 bathrooms only one for each floor so that was constraint , and mirror wasn't available in the room rather outside of room and the balcony was pretty good, overall it's good for budget travelling

We stayed here recently and honestly it was such a nice experience. The rooms were clean and comfy, the staff were super polite, and the vibe of the place felt really cozy. Location was also convenient, we could reach everywhere easily. Overall, it felt like a good value for money and I’d definitely stay again. 💯✨

I had a really good stay at the property. The location was convenient, the facilities were well-maintained. The staff were friendly and supportive, which made the stay comfortable. Would recommend it for both family and solo travelers.

No fans, shared rooms had no security things. People were smoking openly inside the room. Not at all recommended if there is any girl in the group. Caretaker smoking with others in the shared room. Washroom limited and insufficient for a group. No hygiene. No security. No anemeties. Not Safe.

The hostel is not maintained properly and the management definitely needs to have a good behaviour. They are rude and incapable of doing their job.

The stay at Hope Hostel was an awesome experience! The atmosphere was so welcoming, and I got the chance to make many new friends. A perfect place for comfort, fun, and great memories. Highly recommended.
