HORIZON VIEW BED & BREAKFAST | Rooms & Wi-Fi

Had my apprehensions at the time of booking as how it will turn out to be but it all turned out to be a nice wonderful experience. The Villa is run by a good couple. The gentleman helped me with my heavy luggage to the room at the time of check-in. The room was as shown in the pictures. Within a 50 meters walk you get auto. Walkable distance to Haddo Jetty for the ferry to Havelock Island and near to Naval museum. Had home cooked dinner which was good. In Breakfast had purchased Iddli which was not good but Puri was good. Owner’s are friendly and helpful. Overall it is a value for money place and it doubles up if you occupy the seaview room.

This is our first experience in any homestay. We liked this place very much. Rooms are clean, food is very tasty. Rite is a great host and her food is super tasty. Lots of love to little ahana. This place is just 5mins from the haddo jetty. One can just walk to it. It is around 20 mins from the airport. Chattam saw mill is very close around 10 mins. Other spots like cellular jail, roses island jetty point (rajiv gandhi water sports complex, anthropology museum, market, are far from here. But this place is worth staying. You will get auto, car easily from here. Overall y good place to stay.

It was a pleasant experience staying here. Mr. Ashwin was really helpful and he is great. You get awesome service and you don't have to worry about anything as Mr Ashwin will arrange everything. Food was really good. Additionally, I met a guy named Mr. Gopal (auto driver) who was really really helpful. He is known as Mr. Google of Portblair by his customers. He was superb and the money he charged for the ride was nominal (charged including waiting for us from Cove Beach a cellular jail a pick up from jetty).

I stayed for one day with my wife. It was a nice stay. The home stay has 3 rooms. Rooms were neat and clean. It is like a real home with a drawing room, dining hall, small aquarium, etc. The only issue was the bathroom. Though it was kept clean, its size is too small. There is a friendly dog as well. It looks bit scary but it wont do any harm. It makes the property secured. We liked it :) Food provided for dinner was simple and with less spices. So it was good :) Overall service was good.

Stay was very comfortable and they have taken good care of the cleanliness and hygiene. Host was very friendly and helpful. He helped us in arranging for the transportation as well. We booked a garden view room which was quite spacious. It also has a common balcony which has sea view. It has iron facility which is a plus point. So if you are looking for a pocket friendly stay with the basic amenities, this is a good choice.

My wife and I stayed in this home stay for two days and overall it was a pleasant stay. The owner, Mr. Ashwin was really a good person and very responsive. However, the Breakfast was not that great frankly. Don't expect much from the breakfast. Washroom was little small but overall we don't have any bad experience. By the way, the location is good as it's really near the Haddo Jetty. So I would recommend this stay.

I recently stayed for a night at this amazing place! the location is very close to the jetty so making it perfect for early travels to havelock and other islands the room itself is just amazing you get 1) good food 2) good wifi 3) just an amazing view of the sea from the balcony i have no regrets staying here ! its a must stay the host treated us very well during the stay i am completely satisfied with this place!

You can enjoy beautiful sunrise from the sea facing. Although location is little offbeat but the view from the HORIZON VIEW BED & BREAKFAST | Rooms & Wi-Fi is beautiful.

Very nice room. Host ashwin is very co operative. Nice see view location. Room location was hard to find but its okay. Its very near to chatham police station. Overall nice experience

The stay was pleasant, our host and his wife both were extremely friendly and genuine, they even provided customized food for our baby. The view is also beautiful, one can enjoy watching sea from there. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and the rooms were also clean

Nice olace one can stay for room with balcony for sea view.... Otherwise common balcany also there for see view....

It was an awesome 1-night stay in the awesome cozy property. We booked 2 rooms, one with sea view and the other a standard one. Both were clean and comfortable. Host of the property "ashwin" is an awesome supportive person. Recommended to have food at the property which is home cooked by the property hostess.

Caretaker Ashwin is fantastic, friendly and gives helpful tips to roam around Port Blair. Felt very comfortable like home and Mandy the canine is very friendly and soothing. The only con is that nearby restaurants are at least 300-500 meters away from the location. The stay is very near to had do jetty which is very easy to catch ferry to Have lock. Overall pleasant stay and would recommend other travelers too.

Good place with the best view. The owner and his family serves you well and takes care of your needs. The food served is too good with many options. They help you with cab, renting a bike and any other help that you need. I strongly recommend this place if you visit port blair and are looking for good stay
