Horn Bill Nest

The location is superb. View of the surroundings, the thumping of the mighty waves against the rocky Beach, rare opportunity to relish the beauty of beholding the distant sea kissing the vault of heaven and at the same time a chance to feel the impulse of the howling sea from the close proximity of the lawns and rooms from the shore, situated at the slope of a foothill juxtaposed to the sea far from the madding crowds, the serenity of the ambience all together is sure to central you and captivate your imagination, if you are a true lover of the nature. Added with these there is the warm hospitality of the cordial staff, fairly maintained lush green lawns, chirping of numerous birds in and around, neat and clean rooms, palatable cuisine. And all these amenities taken together has made it an ideal place of stay in port clair for nature loving travelers. Although the price of served food appeared to be a bit on the higher side and in my opinion it should have been moderated to some extent to make it perfectly reasonable.

We booked for one night and then extended our stay by another day as the place was so enticing. The view is awesome. The first day we stayed in a delux room. Liked it. Then book special delux for the next day and it was just wow! the open sea right beyond the lush green lawn is mesmerizing. The staff is very courteous and provided excellent service. The property is clean which added to the beauty. Food could be better though. Overall i am extremely satisfied and would recommend this place to my friends.

Nice and clean rooms, friendly staff, great service and great view of Sea what else you need. Every room has sea view, you can watch sunrise without getting out of your bed. Restaurant serves great food. I tried fish and prawns and were really tasty. Restaurant also has sea view. Hotel doesn't have facilities like resort but all basic amenities are in place. Check-in and check-out was smooth. Its far from Port Blair main city but drive to Horn Bill Nest was along coastline and it was beautiful.

Firstly we were confused with mix reviews from other visitors. So we booked only for a day. Firstly got impressed with location and greenery's around resort. Another critical aspects was its cleanness. Stuff were great and very helpful. After spending few hours we have extended our stay by another 2 days. Can not believe it's a govt maintained resort. Enjoyed thoroughly.

We have enjoyed our stay throughout 3 days in horn-bill nest. Sea view rooms (super deluxe) are superb. One can watch sunrise from the room. Food is superb. The property is 33 years old and is being maintained properly. The bathroom needs to be replaced. Overall it was an excellent stay and strongly recommended for all walks of people.

We stayed here for 1 day. The view from the room was to die for. We sat outside our room till late night watching the ocean. Such a serene and peaceful environment. Not just our room but all the rooms are built in such a way that they have ocean view. It's very close to co by s cove just about 800 meters away.

I would definitely recommend this resort in terms of locations, individual cottages especially sea view cottages, and service. Food is just average. We stayed in Sea View Cottages where rooms are spacious, well maintained with a balcony facing sea. Would rate 4/5 as food area needs improvement.

Location is excellent view wise but pretty bad convenience wise, you can't do anything without a auto or a car hire as this is pretty far from down town.
Bang for a buck. It's a government resort so doesn't have the frills, but the view is nice and the amenities are pretty standard.

Food is average, but location is really cool

The stay was very brief - overnight stay to catch early morning flight. Proximity to the Indian Ocean and morning sunrise with the ocean in backdrop was a panoramic delight.

Services, food, location and food quality is good

Its good place for family stay, far from the Airport but right in front of the Sea and close to Beach

This was best stay I had in Andaman. No doubt I enjoyed other properties too but among all I love the comfortability and flexibility at Hornbill Nest

Excellent location, all rooms with sea view. Awesome resort. Staff service excellent. Breakfast good but can be improved. Total peace of mind in this resort. Worth every penny
