Horseland Hotel and Mountain Spa

Was a good stay at Horseland Matheran, with a quite good room & nice meals. Cleanliness was also good. Felt pleasant in the best climate & privacy. Rest needs little maintenance in the rooms doors & washroom windows, also with good gyser systems for quick hot water supply.

The location is near the market, I got it very easily, the food was amazing, the amenities were also very good, the service was also very good, the price seemed a bit high.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room and overall property were in very poor condition. The towels provided were smelly, and the bedsheets looked faded with colours completely washed out, giving a very cheap and unhygienic feel. The bathroom was even worse — tiles were broken, and the toilet seat had permanent stains, almost like a public toilet. It was very uncomfortable to use. We chose this hotel only because the pricing was slightly lower than nearby options, but the quality did not justify even that. The property requires major maintenance and cleanliness improvements. The only reason this place seems to get guests is because of the two evening games they conduct, but otherwise, the stay experience was far below expectations. Definitely not recommended unless they work seriously on hygiene and upkeep.

The stay was good, the food quality and variety was also good. The rooms were also good . If there are any way they want suggestions they can also provide toiletry kits like other hotel chains.

The room is not good. No TV, No Telephone to contact the receptionist, need to go down from the 3rd floor all the time. Torn blanket. Food is ok but not worth per person if taken seperately Other amenities like pool, musical games, DJ are fantastic.

Amenities were good, breakfast /lunch/dinner was 7/10, better than expected, but rooms were ridiculous. Foul smelling, poor furniture almost 0 furniture. Bed and mattress were in real bad condition. Staff was helpful but can't help much when it comes to stay.

1)Room was very bad 2)ac was not working in one room[I had booked 2 rooms for my family] 3)bed sheets were smelling 4)no light in the washroom of one of the rooms 5)location of the room was very bad 6)there was no proper space for my children to move around ,everything was very conjusted 7) it was very expensive for the amount I booked and what I got ,the rooms were not even worth 1000 rs The only thing nice was the pool and the food was average

Bad experience

The rooms are very average, The food is very costly so i quit the food package. The hotel area is very congested, no open space, no garden space, no open area for playing badminton, No swing available for couples sits and relax. only the swimming pool is good, washroom also not clean, didnt get Hot water in morning, Totally Average experience. very costly than what we get.

Rooms are very low quality

Hotel rooms were very messy and untidy and prices were over priced as per the room expectations

The property is spacious, and the front desk staff was helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. However, the maintenance left much to be desired. There were insects and bugs in the washroom, peeling paint on the walls, and out of all the lights and charging sockets, only one was functional, with the rest being fused or non-operational.

It was a quite good location. Had a good stay. Thank you horseland team matheran.

Worst facility and poor services also very unhygienic rooms not maintain cleanliness not recommended this hotel and also outside hotel in road side not recommend

Property location is very good, nearby to station, food was good but could have been better. Hotel staff is very good. Responsive and humble. Definitely will suggest to friends and relatives, if they plan. Daily activities in evening makes stay very comfortable and entertaining

Hotel staff not supporting hotel room at booking time show but give others room. Please next not fraud any person this hotel against.
