Hotel A Star Sasangir

Excellent value stay right next to the Sasan Gir jungle safari Govt. office. I could walk around safely at night 10 pm. With nice Gujju style vegetarian food (homestay type restaurant right next door). Rooms are clean, restrooms are quite tidy. Bang on the state highway right next Dena bank ATM. I could find many visitors with family from neighboring states using this Hotel A Star Sasangir for their overnight stay, very secure and children friendly place.

Overall Hotel A Star Sasangir was clean, staff was very helpful and prompt. Only issue was cockroaches in room. Although staff did spray of repellent and also offered to switch rooms, problem is all there rooms had infestation of cockroaches. After spray we were able to spend the night somehow and had to check out as early in morning as we can.

A very decent and clean Hotel A Star Sasangir. The rooms are decently spacious and are kept clean. Not sure if proper sanitisation practices are being followed, though. The washrooms were clean too. The staff is polite and they have most of the basic facilities like restaurant, hot water etc. Good for people looking for a short stay.

Booked 2 rooms. Bot b were clean. Fully satisfied with the rooms for the price of 1000/room. Car parking was available on ground floor. Room: double bed with good mattress, tv, 2 towels, chairs, tea table, mirror and dustbin bathroom: big size, western toilet, hot and cold water, soap and shampoo pouch, bucket and mug and dustbin.

I enjoyed my stay at astar. Felt more at home than a Hotel A Star Sasangir. The staff were really helpful. If any one stays there. Do try the food referred to by reception. It was exceptionally good. Don't compare it with Hotel A Star Sasangirs in cities. Very close to sasan gir reception. Loved the politeness and homely feeling.

Though the property at first glance seems ok but from the inside the room was very great, the washroom was very big, clean. We were stuck at night for the route from dwarka but the manager himself guided till we reached the property. Overall nice stay. Value for money. Can stay here. Except location overall experience is fine

Very good stay at fair price. Rooms are neat and good. Hot water available 24h, they provide hot water for drinking also on request. Good hospitality. They provided us early checkin as well since we reached earlier than expected. Overall very good stay, highly recommend for anyone visiting sasan with friends/family/partners.

A budget Hotel A Star Sasangir situated within just 450 mtrs from sinha sadan (from where gir lion safari booking done. You can get tea in the Hotel A Star Sasangir itself. But for food you have to rely on a nearby homemade dining hall which is just 25 mtrs away. The food is very good and at a reasonable price.

The location and the property is good one considering the availability of property in nearby areas. The restaurant is outside the Hotel A Star Sasangir in a private building but good one.

The Hotel A Star Sasangir was good for the price during the busy season, offering basic amenities. Its prime advantage is the 5-minute walk to the main gir safari entry point, which proved very convenient for our party of three.

Location is good and near to the beach. Food is good but can be better. Stay was good overall.
