Hotel Aashiyana

The best thing I liked about Aashiyana is its location. It is just before the main market area and that too only a five minutes walk. So one can easily reach the market area for roaming or taking a taxi and also can avoid the hustle and bustle of it. The rooms are spacious with all modern amenities.Most of the rooms are with view and if someone is lucky(like me)can experience the sheer beauty of Kanchenjunga from window or balcony. Staffs are extremely helpful and always try to make their guests happy. The quality of food is good and the price is also very reasonable. The only thing I didn't like that there is a lounge bar on the third floor and it plays music too loud which creates so much noise and discomfort though its not Aashiyana's property and the management of Aashiyana is trying to resolve the issue very soon.

Without hesitation one of the favourite Hotel Aashiyanas, I stayed during my time at Kalimpong. Upon arrival I was cordially welcomed by the staff and manager, manager Mr Milon das upgraded my standard room to deluxe view room. Room was very spacious and clean. The scenic beauty from the room was marvellous. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this! ) and the restaurant cook deserves a special thanks. helps me a lot to arrange my car at 7. 30 Am. Note, this is not a 4/5-star Hotel, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the manager who does a great job here

Kanchanjangha view from bed made the trip a memorable one. Milan Das and Milan Mondal both this guy are cooperative. View rooms space in are big. Amenities are OK. Geyser was working well. Foods are homely and tasty but little expensive. Approach road to Hotel Aashiyana entrance is not good and a steep one. Housekeeping should improve. Services can be more professional. No of channels in TV was very low, mostly locked. But only I would remember the awesome feeling after viewing majestic Kanchanjangha from bed.

Very good ambiance neat and clean. Hotel management and staff very cooperative and accommodation. Food is very homely though a little limited choice. Only issue is WIFI is only strong at ground floor. Management will see why the repeater is not boosting signals at the top floors. Overall value for money and that's why it's make the no 1 Kalimpong Hotel revenue earlier. Time well spend and Worth it even without a strong WIFI. Highly recommend for a nice leisure holiday.

Food was good as I m gujarati my test is different, but as per its locality food was good and near by places market, Park, etc
Staff was cooperative, location is very beautiful, view from room was elegant, I was on bike trip there Park my bike in Side Hotel I like that very much, room was clean and sofa was in room plus better sitting place, staff was very friendly, I like very much this Hotel in this budget.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Hotel Aashiyana. The rooms were big, spacious and airy. Location was good. About 7-10 mins walk from main market. Hence peaceful and quiet but easily accessible. Hotel staff was cordial and the hospitality was good. Food was OK. Not much variety but decent home type food. Also there's a small nice night club adjacent to the Hotel Aashiyana for people who are interested.

We booked a standard room, but the staff was quite sportive to offer us a deluxe room as some rooms were vacant. The size of the rooms are really big for the money they charge. View of the mountains from the room is amazingly beautiful! Food was great for reasonable prices. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Lovely two nights here. Highly recommended for budget travellers.

I was lucky enough that I got a room which had a very nice view of mountains and scenic beauty. The room was spacious with a good ambience. There was uninterrupted water supply and electricity backup. Staff was good. Efficient. Restaurant food was good. They prepared as per our needs. Overall nice stay. Would recommend to others who visit Kalimpong.

Excelled room provided to us. The geyser wasn't working. No remedy after repeated complaints though they provided hot water. Food over-priced. Room had excellent views. Walking distance from the market. They also arranged car for local sightseeing. Amenities were average. Though there was a power cut at night.

View rooms are good, service is poor, cleanliness is not satisfactory.
