Affordable decent stay near marine driv

Good: Stayed for 2 nights. Hotel was accomodating. We arrived early 9am and they provided a non-ac room for us to change till checkin. We left 5 hrs after checkout time and they extended 1 room for a modest charge. Rooms are spacious for 3 persons. Prices came to 3k per room per night. So affordable. Bad: 1. Breakfast is standard. Not Kerala style. No puttu, no idiyappam, no appam. We went out for breakfast. So if you want good Kerala style breakfast there is a restaurant right around the corner which serves eggs as well. 2. Bathroom had some stink, like a train toilet. It was clean but the stench was there. May be due drain or trapped humid air 3. Restaurant is only for breakfast. No lunch, no dinner,no room service for food 4. This hotel is mainly booked by large groups. So lot of noise during checkin/checkout at the reception and at times in corridor. Overall a decent affordable stay, 15 min walking distance to Marine drive and boat jetty.

We got a room in which the bathroom door cannot be close and it was very uncomfortable. Person at reception was blaming house keeping and did not do anything.
