Hotel Akaal Residency

Though the Hotel Akaal Residency is located in an obscure location, yet it is at a stone's throw from Golden temple, Jallianwaala Bagh and Town Hall market. Thus, you can stroll late till night without worrying about reaching Hotel Akaal Residency on time. The area is lively with lots of Hotel Akaal Residencys around so a safe place to stay with family. We were offered a room in Kala Heights which was very clean and well kept. The washrooms and room had all the essentials required. Owing to extreme cold there was a room heater as well. There was an elevator, ramp and parking space. The staff was polite and courteous helping us throughout with directions and even booked an auto for our late night return to bus station. The breakfast was decent and of good quality. We were also provided with complimentary goodies :)

Very satisfied with my two night stay. Spic And span interiors and linen, trouble-free and fully functional amenities, comfortable bed and pillows. Only a minor inconvenience was the scattered water flow from the bathroom tap - the mouth needs a cap with net to smoothen the flow. The location is good and bad at the same time. On the good side, it's bang behind the Golden Temple which is just a 3-4 minute walk, and starting from the temple we have the newly constructed beautiful heritage promenade with shops, restaurants, food stalls, Jalianwala Bagh, Partition Museum, Town Hall - everything along the way. But on the negative side, being situated in a narrow alley, one has to avoid cab, but of course, rickshaw, e-rickshaw and auto play there.

Location 5/5 - Behind Golden Temple. 1 minute walk to inner sanctum sanctoram. Hospitality 5/5 - I booked the 3 rooms in Hotel Akaal Residency from online portals for one day hence got best deal. Normally I found that in online booking there is actual situation of the Hotel Akaal Residency rooms and other facilities is differ from they show on website but AKAAL HIGHTS is same as show and other commitments whichever they made is same as for online customer's. Extremely cordial staff. Specially Ms Seema and Mr. Patvinder singh, they were very supportive, hospitality was superb, These guys won my heart. Full value of money, Highly recommended.

Though the room had 3 occupancy which was as one guest. If there are three guest they will surely not use one dental kit. Above that the Hotel Akaal Residency reception tries to rationalize that the other things should last for two days. They need to understand that there are no of guests and booking is for no of days. They should not shy out from refilling things. This is my 4th year stay in the Hotel Akaal Residency and I can see the Hotel Akaal Residency growing physically but shrinking in the services front. There is only one lady who has hold that front.

My Overall experience and stay is good with this Hotel Akaal Residency. I recommend Okla residency. Breakfast provided was good. Near to Golden Temple area. Staff is also cooperative. They are ready to provide any help like arranging cabs to sharing the information with respect to the place. Total value for money. Service is good. The only problem, I observed is reaching to this Hotel Akaal Residency is little difficult as it is inside the gullies and back of golden temple. If we call the Hotel Akaal Residency management then they can guide us.

We booked deluxe room for 1 night. Room was clean and in good condition. We checked in late night but staff were helpful. Location is very near to temple and Jallianwala garden, so you can cover by walk and also can do some local shopping. If you are coming by train ask cab/auto driver to drop you at Hotel Akaal Residency via back route and not at main entrance. I will recommend this Hotel Akaal Residency for anyone who want to stay near Golden temple with good Hotel Akaal Residency service. They also arranged cab for me for Wagah border.

The Hotel Akaal Residency is very close to Golden Temple. Hardly 5 minutes walk. So one can easily go in the late night too for visiting temple. We did the same & visiting temple in night was really awesome. The staff & Receptionist are very friendly & helpful. The receptionist guided us nicely about other places to visit & also arranged an Auto for us for dropping at Volvo Station. Happy with the service & View of Golden Temple in night which was possible only due to location of Hotel Akaal Residency near the temple.

Very nice & thumbs up for this Hotel Akaal Residency,, perfect location just 5 min walk for Golden Temple & with in the market area & easily access of transport & all the things for your daily need & 5-10 walk to reach the newly beautiful market of Amritsar & Jallianwala Bagh.. For this price range rooms are very well & properly clean for couple & family travellers & delicious breakfast & everyone who need luxury & comfort with less price choose this Hotel Akaal Residency & now my first choice is Akaal Residency.

Room Service was good. Very nearly located to Darbar Sahib. Facilities provided are good. Breakfast Quality and way of presenting is awesome. Parking facilities provided is good. Ea sly located in Amritsar. Easy to accommodate. Near to Gurudwara Harminder Sahib, Baba Aral Rai and Baba Deep Singh. Recommendable for a family.

Hotel room is small but clean, Hotel Akaal Residency staff service is good, location is near golden temple but we can't reach by tempo traveler, budget Hotel Akaal Residency, walking distance from jalia wala Baug, if you have heavy luggage you have arrange for Riksha

Reached around 9 in the morning still the owner arranged a washroom for me and my family and keep our luggage. Rooms were clean and service was good. Found no sort of issues during my stay. Happy with their service and cooperation. Recommended for all the inbudget travellers.

Good Hotel Akaal Residency .. It's in the interior .. Road is very narrow but walkable from Golden Temple .. 10 mins Max. Room service is also good but eatables are expensive. I Chai was 40 rs. Too much. Rest room cleaning was great. Bathroom mainly was very clean. Overall liked it. Good option to stay.

The staff was really nice, helpful and well behaved. The rooms were neat and the washrooms were also clean. We struggled to find the location of the Hotel Akaal Residency but it was fine. Ask people around to lead you to it.

The golden temple is very much near by. Friendly staff and owner. Definitely during next visit will stay in same location. The booking was done through MakeMyTrip and got the room for three days for a reasonable price.

Nice room, amazing hospitality, 2 minutes walking distance to the golden temple, peaceful stay, highly recommend.

Excellent service excellent staff clean rooms, toilets .. Its just a 2 min walking distance from Hotel Akaal Residency to golden temple and about 10 min walking distance from Hotel Akaal Residency to jhalliwalan bagh. Totally worth it ???

This Hotel Akaal Residency is situated at the baba sahib chawk and very nearer to the golden temple. It is just 2 minute walking distance from Hotel Akaal Residency to temple gate. The room are not big in size but clean and well maintained. But if you're reaching here by car, you'll have to take battery rickshaw or auto from either sultanwind gate or golden temple car parking. I will recommend this Hotel Akaal Residency to the visitors who want to stay near the temple. And I'm giving 4 out of 5 overall.

So close to the Golden temple. We also found a tea vendor just close by whose wife cooked home made nutritious tasteful Punjabi meals for us. Very optimal location. Rooms are well maintained but on the smaller side.

Good Hotel Akaal Residency to stay with family, very near to Gurudwara and Jallianwala Baug. Helpful staff and cooperative. Just would recommend to check the facilities like Geyser is in working condition. Would recommend this Hotel Akaal Residency to my friends.

The prime location served my purpose.
