Hotel Alpine Continental

Alpine continental is right in the middle of policy bazaar and hence a great place to spend the last day of our meghalaya trip. The rooms were very large, with multiple almirahs and study tables. The restaurant was spacious with multiple food options, but the service was lacking during the breakfast buffet time. They had only two staff members who were taking requests from multiple families and clearly not able to cope up with the peak hour demand. Coming to the other cons - the bathing area is very small in the bathroom. So gets quite inconvenient. Considering that shillong get quite cold, they could have provided better insulation in the bathroom area. You have to be seated barefooted on the cold tiles when you have to use the commode. No slippers were provided as well. The bathroom ceiling also looked very moldy and needed maintenance overall it's a value for money stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Alpine Continental alpine continental in shillong for two nights, and i have to say, i was thoroughly impressed. The Hotel Alpine Continental was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which made my stay comfortable and relaxing. The staff were incredibly courteous and went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met throughout my stay. From the front desk to the restaurant, everyone was friendly and accommodating. Speaking of the restaurant, i have to say that the food was delicious. I enjoyed a variety of dishes during my stay, and each one was expertly prepared and presented. Overall, my experience at Hotel Alpine Continental alpine continental was fantastic. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay in shillong, i highly recommend this Hotel Alpine Continental.

Than a road where the Hotel Alpine Continental is located is a calm, clean and peaceful area compared to the din of the congested police bazar. Yet the market is at just a minute's walking distance from the Hotel Alpine Continental. So location-wise its perfect. As for the premium executive non-ac room it may be said that you live like a queen here. White decor of the room along with plush bathroom gives a regal feel. Room service and reception are both fantastic. Coffee kit and toiletries kit are provided. Completely worth the money. Though in house coffee is overpriced compared to food. I would strongly recommend this place compared to any other Hotel Alpine Continentals in police bazar based on their location and service.

Good location and good cleaniness. Nice sceneery seen from room. Food is good. Behaviour of staff is good. Space of room is little bit congested with this tarrif more spacious rew. Required. All over good for staying thanks. Personal utility like shaving kit cotton sleeper soap water at-least 1 liter per person per day they should provide. We got only 2 liter water for 2 person 2 days very less. 2 person for 2 days 4 liter water should provide ther are charging so heavy why should not give more amenities be care full next time. Food restaurant are very costly. Breakfast is not good hopeless. No sweet no apple no cold drink no proper veg curry sorry to write it

The stay was comfortable; on first day though we were not able to get into the room because of access card issue which Hotel Alpine Continental staff took about 45 minutes to resolve. The breakfast arrangement was pretty good. The bathroom inside the room, had semi-frosted glass from the height of average person's knee length upto 1 feet above the head. That bathroom glass wall was not much opaque which is embarradding if one needs to take bath and others are present in the room at that time. The issue needs to be addressed. Other than that the Hotel Alpine Continental facilities are quite good and staffs were courteous.

at the very outset I would like to say that the the Staff Members of Hotel Reception were found to be excellent, very courteous and very decent as well. The Hotel Alpine Continental rooms were very beautiful. Overall it was a beautiful stay for me. My relationship with Make My Trip is decades old. I will always recommend MMT for hassle free booking of Hotels and refund as well on cancelation of booking. Tourists can without fear stay at Hotel Alpine Continental, Sillong. It's really 👍

Location is very good. You can take your car. Make sure to take the Quinton road😊. Parking may be a problem for late arrivals. Food was good and so was room hygiene. Staff were nice and friendly. Our room had issues with the TV (very few channels and they forgot to recharge the kid's channels despite multiple requests) and AC (air swing non-functional). I would still recommend it because of its location, room amenities, parking and food options.

The Hotel Alpine Continental is located in thanaroad, police bazar the center of all commercial and touristy activities in shillong. The rooms are comfortable and meets ones basic needs favorably. Although located near the centre of shillong it is quiet and peaceful. The staff are helpful and of pleasant disposition. Thank you Hotel Alpine Continental alpine continental for making our stay in shillong a memorable one.

The location was really good very near from police bazar, we got discounted price so according to the discount price it's good but there was a bit of lingering mold smell all over the place.

Non AC rooms should have ventilation with windows. Please don't make AC rooms non AC by simply taking the AC remote. It's an advice to the Hotel Alpine Continental authority to provide a non AC room with windows and good view. AC rooms need to be air tight but AC rooms can't be changed to non AC room by simply taking away the existing AC remote. Thanks overall good service good food.

I have stayed in executive room and thats a fantastic experience and room service also very good. Hotel members are cooperative. Food was delicious. Overall experience was excellent.

We stayed one night and it was decent stay. Location is good….right near police bazaar Main Street. We booked a non AC room. It was clean and extra warm blankets were provided. Bathroom was also clean, had warm water and basic toiletries as in dental kit, shower gel and shampoo with clean towels. Plus was there was local jagannath temple near to Hotel Alpine Continental.

I loved the way how the staff cared for our dinner and called to ask about it when we didn't order any.
