Hotel Amber

We were 2 girls staying in Shimla for days. Took some time to navigate from old bus stand to Ram Bazzar where this is located. Very bustly market area, quite populated till at least 9pm. The room service food was really tasty and well presented. Ordered tea and breakfast both days and Thali for dinner which was plenty for 2. The Hotel Amber staff is very polite and cooperative - made us maggi from packets we provided with no extra charge. Weren't charged for an early check in, although it's subject to availability. Overall it was a lovely and peaceful stay. Mall road and Scandal point are also very accessable from here. P.s. do try their sweets, they are excellent.

This was my second time at Amber. Off the top of my head, the Hotel Amber staff is always very polite and courteous. The room service is excellent for a budget Hotel Amber and the location is also one of the factors I choose it whenever I visit Shimla. The rooms are nice, too, and the food is good. Just one thing. The terrace garden can sometimes be a place for loud drinking parties. My partner has asthma and there was so much smoking at this particular gathering that we were almost struggling at one point. We informed the concierge, too, but the smoking didn't really stop.

I moved with family and child from 6th to 8th november 2019. The entire reception was very caring. They called and picked us up from railway station, dropped at Hotel Amber, food was great and very tasty. I specially thank Mr. Kishori Dhatwalia who took time to arrange our trip plans accordingly and also Mr. Sanjay Chauhan the driver whose behaviour was very honest and very friendly. The rooms were great and entire stay was great. Recommend to travel for anybody.

Good Hotel Amber in this price. Very close to mall Road but Hotel Amber is situated on the top of the hill therefore you have to walk to reach the Hotel Amber. No medium of transport is available to reach the Hotel Amber, the only way is to climb the stairs which are very uncomfortable but after reaching the Hotel Amber the view was very beautiful. Also this Hotel Amber doesn't have restaurant. But staff of Hotel Ambers are polite and cooperative.

Well the Hotel Amber staff is really friendly and helpful. Their special thali was very tasty. The best part about this Hotel Amber is that it is very close to the mall road. Just go down from Puma showroom and ask for Amber Hotel Amber people should able to guide you. It's right opposite to a temple and there are two ATM super close as well. It's in the middle of hustle bustle. Good VFM Hotel Amber.

This is my second visit to this Hotel Amber. The location of the Hotel Amber is good, it is in between the mall road and the bus stand. I like the facilities and service of the Hotel Amber. The staff are also very good, their service is good. Whenever in future if I visit Shimla I will definitely stay here in Amber Hotel. Love to visit here again

Hotel staff is very active and cooperative. Hotel is very near to Old Bus Stand. Hotel Located at middle of Ram market. The Ridge and Christ Church are just five minutes from Hotel Amber. But there is no car parking facility. Except Parking all things are good at Hotel. Its too good and safe for a couple and for a family or group too.

Nice stay with the scenic beauty of shimla. Easy approach from the old bus stand. Good food with timely service and cooperative staff rendering desirable services. The ram mandir in front of the Hotel Amber adds elegance to the stay. We liked the stay at amber Hotel Amber.

It was a good time staying in this Hotel Amber! Location was spot on however price and room service was little worrisome considering the city which is always in demands for tourists

Hotel is nice and staff is good. Location is very nice near to mall. Food facility is very good.

Good Hotel to stay. But no car parking. Have to climb Long way to reach Hotel which is tedious. I had to find the help of porter to bring my luggages to the Hotel. Also my family struggled to reach Hotel. Other than that Hotel is good choice.

Hotel was at the centre of the City with amazing supportive and helping staffs

Best service and room by amber Hotel Amber, only issue is walking down for reaching Hotel Amber for senior citizen. Best breakfast and hospitality.

The rooms was pretty good at this price range. The inconvenience we faced is the washroom was not that good. There was leakage and the water is all around the washroom floor.

Nice place to be with your better half and a sillient place to enjoy the trip.
