Hotel Amet Haveli

Amet Haveli is beautifully located and has historical importance. The rooms are spacious, the staff is professional and the restaurant is probably the best location ever. 1 star less than perfect as the mattress and other amenities in the room should be improved if they charge over 10k per night.

Amet Haveli is located right on lake pichola. It’s in old city so car parking was required at bit far place; but hotel staff provided support for reaching to hotel. Hotel provides beautiful view of lake pichola- lake palace- city palace especially at night. Hotel rooms are spacious with haveli heritage feel. Candle light Dinner and breakfast with peaceful lakeside sitting at Ambrai restaurant is highly recommended. Food was also good. Overall great personal experience.

Really enjoyed each moment spent at Ambrai Restaurant. The staff was also very helpful and courteous. Rooms too were exceptional. Would definitely recommend this property.

The restaurant service needs an overall mindset change. Get a royal treatment if you are foreign guests otherwise no one cares about Indian guests at the restaurant. Keep calling restaurant staff but no one will turn up for 10 mins and you will see them chit chatting with foreign guests. Be ready to face this discrimination if you are planning to be at the restaurant. Clean and well maintained rooms, swimming pool and lawn.

location is good .. quality of room is worst anyone can have..wastage of money this room is like as it is not the part of hotel

We stayed at Amet haveli lake facing room. The room is undoubtedly very nice. To reach the hotel we had to park our car at some parking as there was no chance of taking own vehicle there. It took almost 45 mins. We tried to reach at the provided contact number but they didn’t pick it up. We tried for almost 3-4 times. They sent their auto to the parking and we reach hotel by 3-3:30. No in room dine in facility. So we reach at their restaurant for some food but the staff didn’t respond well. We had word with the manager who said the kitchen is closed. They didn’t give anything to take with us to the room even the tea or coffee. We had dinner at their restaurant and food was delicious. Although we received something else than what we ordered. ( Gatte ki sabji instead of dum aloo). Breakfast was limited but it was good.

Stay is comfortable and food is delicious. The only negative point is that they do not provide newspaper in the room even after demand.

We stayed at Amet Haveli for a night. we had a bad experience there. We were not allowed to take photos on the lake side viewing the city palace. we wanted to order food, but the person whom we called out for, asked our order and said someone else will take our order and he proceeded to look at foreign guests. the room we were allocated had car parking view only, it was not worth the money we spent and there was no lake view. And there is a minimum spend on dinner to have a table near the lake

The stay at amet haveli was awesome. The food in ambrai restaurant was delicious. As we were guest in the hotel, dinner table with the adjacent lake view was arranged. The lal mans was too good. The rooms were clean. Happy with the staff hospitality

I recently stayed at a property located right by the lake, which creates a beautiful ambiance, especially at night during dinner. However, it's important for travelers to note that cars cannot access the hotel directly. We had to park some distance away and take an auto rickshaw to reach the property. The room itself was impressive, with spacious interiors and a large bathroom. Unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing. Our room was located far from the reception, and the intercom was not functioning, which meant I had to walk to the reception just to request a water bottle. Additionally, the restaurant service left much to be desired. The staff seemed unprofessional and did not match the standards expected for the hotel's tariff. During breakfast, a person who appeared to be the owner or a senior manager spoke loudly to others, completely disregarding the fact that many guests were trying to enjoy their meal in the restaurant. Overall, while the location and room quality were commendable, the service needs significant improvement.
