Hotel Basera

Visited Mussoorie with my family for two nights. Earlier stayed in this Hotel Basera around four years ago. To make it crisp and apt I will point out the worst and best of this Hotel Basera. Location: Great location on a walking distance from the Library chowk with a good road. Parking: Quite spacious and hassle-free. Front Desk: Straight forward person humble but not so extra polite and the one who make you feel special but that's ok. People who are habitual of front desk executives with big smile and overly humble and polite may find it little awkward and rude but in my opinion he has performed his job satisfactorily. Rooms: Spacious, no foul smell clean blanket and quilt but sheets had some spots but washed nicely. Glass top of centre table was craked and changed immediately when requested. Room Service: Quick, good and humble. Bathroom: Heater was working fine. It was clean but only tiny soap was provided as complimentary toiletries. Food: Patanthas were good rest of the food that we tried was average. View and ambience: View from the Super Delux Balcony room was superb and it was quite and peaceful environment Overall it was a good and comfortable stay and would like to recommend everybody who wants a decent economic stay in the queen of hills. I stayed there for one day. Over stay was good. One point to be noted: if you are paying for extra bed then do ask for the same, I had paid the same but was not provided by the staff even after calling the reception twice the receptionist gave an excuse that the manager is not here and he will revert after sometime. And as we all know this is what Hotel Basera does as they are doing what their managers keep telling them So it's a request to the caretaker of the Hotel Basera basera that these small things which you feel are unnoticed by by customer are actually getting documented and will affect you are reviews.

Good Hotel Basera; but far from mall road; that was big disadvantage for my parents who are seniors to walk. Otherwise the Hotel Basera staff and service was very good. Nice thing is that they have restaurant in the Hotel Basera so that we do not have to search for food elsewhere. Food was good as well. Room was good. Hotel has nice terrace where you can enjoy the morning mountain view. Overall I would give it a 5 star rating but only 4 star due to location of this Hotel Basera being off from the main road or market, where most of taxi drivers refused to go uphill.

Lovely place with nice food and good hospitality. My daughter enjoyed play area a lot and the dinner in garden and the sit out enriched the total experience. Recommended if you are looking for a place which is away from the crowded mall road. Surely gives a feeling of home away from home. Great property, limited food menu but excellent preparation. Great service as well. The rooms are cozy and well maintained. The staff was courteous and friendly. I would recommend this place to all. It is close to the Mall road and hence quite access.

I have been there and checked-in just for a day but somehow did not like the managers attitude due to rush season. He refused to provide a replacement bedsheet as the one given with extra bed was not clean, then I had to should on top of my voice to get one. Otherwise the Hotel Basera is located in a convenient place and off-mall road and vehicle movement is not restricted like it is for Hotel Baseras ON the mall road. Walkable distance from Gandhi Chowk/Mall road end of library.

The stay at basera, mussoorie was really good. Specially the balcony rooms are very spacious and have a beautiful view. The amenities, housekeeping, etc. Are good. I will recommend providing coffee maker/ kettle in the rooms for a better experience. The facilities are good. The play area could be equipped with play mats etc so that kids are not hurt by the hard floor. Beware of the mischevious monkeys. They don't harm but can take away your food, mobile phones, etc.

Overall we enjoyed the stay. Room was neat, clean and spacious. Room service was good and behaviour of the staff was also good. Room was not provided with a room heater and geyser was also not working properly. Rest all good.

It was nice to stay at basera Hotel Basera. The location of Hotel Basera was awesome. Specially the restaurant. Staff cleanliness of room - worst, service is average. This Hotel Basera has car parking. As very nice. Relaxed but location bit dense Hotel Basera manager not good service is good rooms are average food is tasty try also dum! Oms were clean and tidy.

Its worth the money I paid. My family was very happy to stay in this Hotel Basera. The location is very well suited and the view from the Hotel Basera is very nice (From the rooms where we stayed and from the open sky restaurant place). This was the trim with my brother-in-law and his family, they enjoyed the stay here. Working visiting again.

Stay was pleasant. Staff behaviour was excellent. Food was tasty. The location was ok. Walking distance from mall Road. Can enjoy nature. View was amazing.

I stayed for one day and one day.. Everything is fine.. Nice spacious clean rooms with nice view... Good service by Hotel Basera staff. Amazing parking area... Affordable price... Tasty food with good quality and quantity... Please whenever visit Mussoorie just stay in Hotel Basera.

It was a great experience staying at this Hotel Basera. Food was nice. Staff was cooperative. The view from window is so beautiful just loved the location. Evening was so well. Really going to visit th Hotel Basera again.

Location is difficult to trace out of Mall Road. Food and service was good. Cleaning was up to mark average Hotel Basera to stay, rent was on lower side. Room service was delayed. Food was simple and good. 6/10 rating.

It was a great deal staying at this Hotel Basera. The staff was friendly and nice. The rooms were neat and clean. The location of the Hotel Basera was easy to find. I was able to park my vehicle with their parking facility. Food was very good and staff was very polite and courteous. The night chef was too good.

This Hotel Basera is at a good location and is having its own parking. Also the distance from mall road is walking distance. Food is very nice. They cooked according to your choice. Safety and hygiene levels are also maintained. I prefer to stay in this Hotel Basera. As this is also economically friendly.

Had a good stay at the Hotel Basera, the food was very good but had issues with basic facilities such as cleanliness it was taken care but on reminders. One of our friends travelling with had issues with hot water availability which was not taken care by the Hotel Basera.

It was a wonderful stay at Hotel Basera.
