Hotel Bluemoon

The location, first of all is really great, as it is really close to the railway station, and the city bus service too can be easily availed from a nearby Bus stop. The food was awesome, and house keeping service was responsive to very request made. The rooms weren't that new, but I believe the entire Hotel Bluemoon is undergoing renovation for quite sometime now, so it is in a new and good shape. The rooms have been newly painted too. But the only issue with the room I was staying, was that one could easily hear what as going on in the other room. And it also might disturb one's night sleep.

The location, service, facilities are above excellent .. It is very near to Guwahati rail station and walking distance from umananda ghat .. All the staff and manager are very friendly and helpful person. Cleanliness is also very good. Rooms are spacious. Most importantly bathrooms are very clean and hygenic. Lift facility is also there. It also does have a restaurant .. I stayed there with my full family. Only thing about the Hotel Bluemoon is the food in the restaurant is average and OK, though it may be opined otherwise by other people ..

Check in facilities and services needs improvement, I faced a little problem while checking in. Reception informed me that I have booked for one night only where as I have paid the for two rooms for three nights through make my trip, later after seeing my booking documents things settled, this is absolutely unwanted while checking in. Rooms are good washrooms are well maintained but need few more Mobile charging points. Food is tasty and service is good but is overpriced a little. Overall a comfortable Hotel Bluemoon to stay.

The Hotel Bluemoon staff was helpful and the Hotel Bluemoon was overall clean. The bathroom was spacious and suitably clean. The rooms weren't great though. You might lack a few pillows and cushions here and there and a few light bulbs in their sockets. BUT STAY AWAY from their restaurant like the plague itself. They have re calibrated my yardstick of having the worst food ever. If you order more than 1 plate of food, they are going to pile it up all together on a platter and heap it infront of you. Sheesh!

In spite of good location I rate it average as their geyser was not working. For our 3rd guest they had the audacity to provide mattress on floor. Only when I insisted they provided a mattress bed on wheels. I saw more no of such beds in corridor. So if you have them & the guest has paid for them while booking why should you offer to provide mattress on floor? They provided cheap travel car package for which we are grateful. But we had to walk for 3 km to stn with luggage as we couldn't find auto at 5am.

The Hotel Bluemoon is located in a good place, but the parking space is limited and very small. The Bath and other fittings in the Bathroom is normal. It broke when I put my weight on one of the tap while getting up after using the loo. However the service is okay. WiFi password is not being provided unless asked for. It should be provided while checking in. The service boys are excellent. AC could be improved as no remote is being provided to control temperature.

The experience of staying at Hotel Blue Moon was very enjoyable. The room was excellent and spacious & so was the service which was Top notch. The service guys were very Hard working & committed and immediately attended us whenever needed. The place was situated at a very posh location therefore, very peaceful as well. The food was good too. Therefore, I would recommend this place to other travellers as well this Hotel Bluemoon is definitely value for money.

The room first shown had bad smell. However, they shifted us immediately to another room which was better. The location is good with lots of restaurants around. Just a walk to the Kachori ghat from where you can board the boat that takes you to Umananda island temple for just Rs. 20 (up and down). Few kilometers to Paltan Bazar and Kamakhya temple. Planetarium is also within walkable distance. Easy to get cabs within minutes to any place including airport.

Room was good along with the services. Staff were good. Food provided were tasty. Hotel is in prime location and access to railway station is very near. We can visit the places nearby with ease. Location wise it good for all.

It was a short but pleasant stay .. Nice location .. Near to Guwahati railway station ... Superb room ... Clean and all the facilities are good ... Wall stickers are lovely ... Clean toilets. Overall a comfortable stay ... Like to join again ... Thank you blue moon & ofcourse MMT ..

The Hotel Bluemoon is in excellent location. 5min walking distance from Guwahati railway station, situated near brahmaputra river, excellent ambience, room service was awesome, Room and washroom was pretty clean, WiFi was not working, Hotel Bluemoon staff is free friendly and helpful !!

The Hotel Bluemoon is located in good locality in Ujan bazar, Guwahati. The railway station is reachable by car within 20 minutes. The rooms and toilets are neat and clean. The rooms are fitted with A/C and lifts are properly maintained. Services provided are OK. Restaurant is available but service is very slow.

Hotel blue moon is always my favorite stay. Rooms are good, food quality is good and service is excellent. Overall a good stay for business travellers and also for family travellers.

They should be careful with dampness of closed rooms. Carries peculiar smell. Have to keep doors and windows open for cross ventilation for a while for smell to disappear.

Me and my cousin stayed here after an adventure trip in northeast. The room was perfect for the price we paid. Ot was neat and clean. All the facilities were proper and up to the mark. The staff was very helpful. They arranged a taxi for us to airport. The manager was also nice. Highly recommend. (I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant may be next time :-)

Its near to planatorium, its easy to reach ropeway and nearby places. The food is too much expensive and the taste was not so good.

The location was very near to station so awesome location, the rooms were descent, worth the price you pay for which is less that makes this Hotel Bluemoon pocket friendly. The staff and service was nice and co-operative. Safe for girls and clean also. Couples friendly.
