Hotel Brown Palace

The Hotel Brown Palace is about 3 km further up the main market of Pahalgam, you can easily take a stroll along the lidder river to reach Brown Palace. The hospitality by Mr. Ibrahim and his team is top notch. They go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable and safe. They have cozy rooms with sound of Lidder river flowing outside your room and the sound of birds waking you up in the morning. Don’t expect five star food or amenities like a major Hotel Brown Palace chain. But expect warm people and home cooked simple meals.

It's a cozy wooden cottage, gave us a homely feel of warmth n truly felt home away from home. They can improve a bit on providing basic necceties in d room. Like a hot water kettle. Overall a very good experience, very good n fresh food was served, as per our requirements. Definitely worth the price we paid for the stay.

Location of the Hotel Brown Palace is just perfect for those who want to be in nature and know local kashmiri culture. Just in front of the property, river is flowing whose sound all the time will mesmerize you. People at the Hotel Brown Palace are very cooperative and welcoming. Mr as-gar is really helpful

It was a good stay. Staff was polite. Breakfast was delicious. They just couldn't arrange for the bonfire per request. One improvement point for the owner is to keep good stock of sealed water bottles for guests. Overall good stay.
