**Review for Hotel Carnation, Ooty** I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Carnation in Ooty from Tuesday to today, and I must say it was an exceptional experience! I had booked two **Standard Rooms** for my family — one for my wife and kids and the other for my parents. Both rooms were impeccably maintained, equipped with all the necessary amenities, including clean bedding, comfortable mattresses, blankets, pillows, wardrobes, soap, shampoo, a TV with cable channels, hot water for bathing, drinking water, and sufficient charging points. The highlight of our stay was the incredible hospitality of Mr. Maridass, the Hotel Carnation owner. He was not only extremely friendly and approachable but also went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. He and his team were prompt in arranging cabs for sightseeing at very reasonable rates and also helped us with food orders from nearby restaurants whenever we needed. One incident that truly touched our hearts was when my father suffered a minor injury. Mr. Maridass immediately came to our aid, providing aftershave lotion to stop the bleeding and a band-aid to treat the wound. His promptness and care made all the difference and showed his genuine concern for his guests. Overall, Hotel Carnation offers not just a comfortable stay but also a memorable experience, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Mr. Maridass and his team. I highly recommend this Hotel Carnation to anyone visiting Ooty and looking for a warm, family-friendly place to stay. This is hospitality at its finest!

My recent stay in Hotel Carnation carnation was fantastic. I was pleasantly welcomed by the Hotel Carnation staff and my check in process was smooth. When i booked the room in mmt, i didn't include my 7 year old kid, but when i requested the owner mr. Mariyadas, he kindly agreed to include him without any additional charges. The highlight of the Hotel Carnation is its location. The charring cross junction is just a few meters away and also very close to the botanical garden. It has an ample car parking facility. The only drawback is the Hotel Carnation doesn't have a restaurant, but that's not a problem since there are a lot of restaurants available around the corner. Over all, the stay was amazing and value for money. Thanks to mr. Mariyadas and the team.

It was amazing. Although I stayed just for a night the owner and staff were very good. I had booked the Hotel Carnation a day after the date it should have been and got to know about it when I arrived at reception on 23rd Feb that i have actually booked it for 24th. Staff was initially not sure how to tackle it and eventually called the owner. He came to reception and heard me out and said to check-in on 23rd itself without any additional charges which was a huge relief for me. Other than that all the facilities were provided included hot water in such weather. Cleanness in the Hotel Carnation is top notch. I had booked a standard room and was as expected. Staff is very well mannered including the receptionist prince and others employees they have.

Stayed in deluxe room with mountain view. Though they don’t have balconies still loved the view. Rooms were clean with clean sheets and blankets in covers. Staff is very courteous. Provided extra blanket without any question. Mr maria doss was truly helpful starting from trip planning to choice of home made chocolates. Food is not available at Hotel Carnation but they have a restaurant attached at ground floor. So it was not of worry. Location is full on. At the heart of the town. Walking distance to the market and botanical garden. Overall had a lovely stay.

Situated right in the town, the Hotel Carnation is a safe place to stay with family. The staff especially Mr Prince at the reception was warm and welcoming. Rooms- clean, spacious and extra bed provided. Bathrooms were also very neat. Toiletries were provided and there was hot water available. The one issue we had was the lack of AC/ Fan.. The room was cool enough but felt stuffy. If they could have had an exhaust fan atleast in the bathroom, it would have been helpful. For a budget stay, I would definitely recommend.

Property location is good. Eatries like A2B and other joints are 0.5 Kms away. You can cover by walk but think if you can. In the evening, there is a fast food truck that's available next to the property. It is a known place in local and the market is also at 300 metres. Parking is available. Rooms were ventilated. Staff was helpful.

The Hotel Carnation is located at the prime location to the market and walkable distance to the botanical garden. The staffs are very polite and the owner is extremely professional and humble person. The rooms are neat and cozy. It is attached with one of the best restaurants in ooty, madras rasoi.

Location was excellent,near to Market area,room was spacious, bathroom was clean and hot water was sufficient and as we chose to have food outside the Hotel Carnation,we had only black tea which was good.

very neat and clean room. near to major tourist spot. sufficient parking available . rooms are spacious. staffs also ok. overall satisfied. Good restaurant is nearby door.

Very polite staff, room service prompt..front staff named marimdas (correct me if I am wrong with name) was very 👍 good with nice gesture..they have shared the points to covered with all relevant information .

Property is located at the best place with car parking facility. Walkable distance to Commercial Road where all kinds of Restaurants and Shops are easily accessible. Clean rooms with 24 hours hot water facility available.

We found the property location on the Google map. Not opted for food from this Hotel Carnation. A water heater was available.

Place was good and its near to main Ooty market by walking distance (around 400m). We requested one extra day stay a Cleanliness was good and security was also there, you can leave your valuables in Hotel Carnation and roam freely in city without hesitation.

It was in a good market location. Everything was available for us. No issue for anything. 24 hours availbility of hot water.

Rooms are very good. Staff is polite and receptive. Good location 2km from bus stand. Veg and non veg is available adjacent madras rasoi. For pure veg ab restaurant is nearby 350 m walking distance. Waterbottle is banned in ooty. Good experience.

Checking was smooth and without any hassle. Mr. Mariadas and his staff recd us with cordiality and made us feel like we were staying at our home. The room was absolutely clean. The only black spot on a clean white experience was the WIFI, it was practically non existent. Well, BSNL at work…🤪…..
