Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group)

I have reviewed this Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) several times in the past. It remains the best Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) in shillong, overall, when you take into account location, convenience, proximity to transport, shopping and entertainment. Don't expect the facilities of a 4-5 star Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) in the metros. Theres no gym, classic rooms don't have mini bars and it's a smallish establishment. But it is old with that charm only shillong can provide, the staff are an absolute delight, the food is second to none and the rooms themselves are so cozy that one feels like staying in all day, especially when it's cold out. And it's immaculately clean. Ticks all my boxes for a pleasant stay in shillong.

Property location - centre of shillong city is both a plus and minus. Easy access to many places from centre comes with a heavy traffic experience. Road is always noisy and it takes 30 mins + to leave shillong city from centrepoint. Hotel rooms - very clean rooms with good wooden finish. Hospitality - staff is very helpful, they even pack you breakfast if you are leaving early to explore. Break fast options - normal mix of 2/2 indian, continental, non-veg dishes. Tastes decent but quality is good. Sky rooftop lounge is available on with a city view - chug your beer with an amazing view. Others- they provide extra mattress as per request, all the toilette’s are also available- tooth brush/soaps/lotion/ laundry bags.

A perfect Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) to stay for a family or even for a group of friends. The location is right at the heart of shillong, the police bazaar and general market is right besides the Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group). The room was spacious, lavish. The toilet was spotless clean. Their restaurant is probably their usp. We had dinner for both the nights in the Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) and loved it both the times. The complimentary breakfast was also quite good. The staff in general was courteous and efficient. A wonderful place to stay overall.

Right in the heart of shillong. Close to most places of interest in town as well as out of town. If you want to cover interesting places of meghalaya from dawki in the south to umiam in the north, this is the town to stay in. The food was safe. Staff are too good and respond to any requests immediately. Property has its small issues. Parking is limited but the security team takes care of the vehicles well. The hot water in the bath is an issue in the afternoon and evening. Morning it works well. Rooms were spacious

The property is located in the heart of the main commercial hub of shillong and is easily accessible with ample parking facilities for the guests. The rooms are well lit, clean, hygiene and comfortable. The food is quite good, though the free breakfast segment needs more variety as there is very little choice in the buffets offered. The other problem faced was the issue of running hot water in the bathroom where the hot water was at best lukewarm. The staffs are very friendly and cooperative.

It’s a wooden interiors give this Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) a certain charm and makes for a cozy stay. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was very good. Location is very central which is great but also makes it difficult to get parking space. Also, it’s usually crowded outside the Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) area both day and night time and the noise can disturb you if you seek quietness. Overall 4/5 points from me!

The Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) is located at a very picturesque and prominent location. It exudes an old world charm. Rooms are cozy and have all the necessary amenities. Breakfast is awesome. The rooftop restaurant has a wonderful ambience with a 360 degree view and serving awesome food and drinks. The staff are very courteous and provide prompt service. Looking forward to stay here again.

It was an absolutely amazing experience staying at centre point shillong. The rooms were very clean, hygienic, and well maintained. The staff at the reception were so helpful and kind with their assistance to our queries. I really enjoyed the food as well. As someone who is staying here for the second time, i'd highly recommend this place to everyone and i'll absolutely come stay here for my next visit.

Had a pleasant stay. The location, Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) staff and vintage vibe of the Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) are the plus points. The only negative was the freshness of fruits in the breakfast spread.

Stay was good except for the stale sasauges and rasmalai served by the restaurant. Food served by the 2nd floor restaurant is stale at breakfast and not too good. Otherwise the service and stay is comfortable

The Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) is centrally placed and is very clean and secured. The staffs are very helpful and polite. The food is good and rooms comfortable. However, lighting inside the rooms are very low and dim which is not conducive for working or using the laptop.

It’s an old property and needs some refresh. The standards on food quality and service have been maintained well. Friendly and helpful staff.

The Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) is best located. Food is delicious. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Definitely our next stay.

Overall stay was very good. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Food was awesome. Breakfast and lunch we tried it was superb. Police bazaar being crowded place Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) has parked facility also which is very much relaxing or else finding a parking in police bazaar, very difficult. Great stay. Location is perfect. Slide issue is entry to the car parking as located in one of the busiest road.

I had stayed at this Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) in room number 206 from 25th to 27th of july. It’s a wonderful experience to stay in this Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group). All of the staff were very cordial. Foods were delicious and the ambience was gorgeous in this property. The position of the property is the best in shillong.
