Hotel Centre Point

I stayed in this Hotel Centre Point for three nights and I will say that this was the best Hotel Centre Point I got in this price range. I stayed for 2 nights each in Gulmarg & Pahalgam and when I compared the facilities & infrastructure, I felt center point was great!! The location of the Hotel Centre Point is very close to dal lake (walkable). The Hotel Centre Point is located in a residential area so if you want a special view then this is not the right place for you. When you are a tourist you spend your entire day outside so I guess for me a mountain view/lake view location was not required in a pricey form. The Hotel Centre Point manager Mr. Wahid is an excellent guy. He takes extra care of his guests. He arranged vehicles for us to visit Gulmarg & Pahalgam at very optimum rates. Also I would recommend to book cabs from here instead of through some travel agent/direct contact. The drivers get business from the Hotel Centre Points so they have fixed & nominal rates to Hotel Centre Point people. The food was also very good in quality & cheaper compared to outside Hotel Centre Points.

We reached Srinagar Airport on 11th June 2010, and when we got out a vehicle from the Hotel Centre Point was waiting for us and it pleased us very much. After reaching the Hotel Centre Point a room on ground floor was allotted to us, the room was somewhat small and we requested for a room on higher floor and bigger in size and they accepted the request. Mr. Manzoor the manager of the Hotel Centre Point offered us a package for visiting the places of interest in and near the Srinagar and I must tell you that it was really worth all its value. We had been provided with a driver and a Chevrolet Travera for exclusively at the disposal for our use till the period we stayed in Srinagar. We visited Sonmarg, Pahalgam, Gulmarg and all the places of interest in Srinagar. Our trip has become a cherished and absolutely unforgettable event. The staff of the Hotel Centre Point is extremely courteous and highly recommend this Hotel Centre Point to anyone travelling to Srinagar. Thank you Mr. Manzoor and best wishes.

Though being in Kashmir now almost seems like being in a foreign land like Egypt or something, the owner of this Hotel Centre Point did all he could to ensure our safety and satisfaction. My husband faced some health problem due to high altitude and could not accompany myself and my daughter for the last 2 days of the trip, but the owner had made sure that we travelled safe, by arranging a trusty driver for all the days. It did come with a price though but it was still a rewarding to see those beautiful spots. The staff too was caring and courteous as they took care of my hubby when he was at the Hotel Centre Point alone. They checked on him at intervals and also called us after we reached Mumbai to see if he were alright. Also the day we reached Srinagar, the weather suddenly got cloudy by the evening and it started to rain. The temperatures also dropped and it was difficult to go around as we weren't prepared for this. The owner gave us 2 clean jackets of his which were also waterproof.

Extremely satisfied with the Hotel Centre Point. The service was very good. They provided us with a vehicle to pick up from the airport. The service boy Mr.Ram Singh was very helpful and he saw that all our needs were met. He even accompanied us to the market near Dal Lake on the last day. The driver Mr. Irfan was very good. He helped us in all possible ways at Srinagar and Gulmarg. The Hotel Centre Point allowed me to check my mails and get some important print outs free of charge. Felt very safe at the Hotel Centre Point. I would recommend this Hotel Centre Point to everybody.

I stayed in this Hotel Centre Point for two days in a curfew hit Srinagar. The staff is really very helpful and will make your stay comfortable even there is unrest going on outside. Hotel arranged cab for us to safely drop us to airport and they didn't charge extra ( other cabbies will charge you extra money saying they are taking risk driving when there is curfew imposed in city). Deluxe rooms are quite good for family. Breakfast provided is good and has 3 - 4 variety of dishes. Hotel is 10 mins walking distance from Dal lake.

We had a pleasant stay at this Hotel Centre Point for 3 nights. The staff of the Hotel Centre Point are polite. The food in the restaurant is really good. They serve buffet for breakfast and dinner. Including the breakfast while booking the room will be a good idea. The staff even guided about the places around Srinagar. The rooms have heater, TV and WiFi. I recommend this Hotel Centre Point for people looking for comfortable stay at mid range budget in Srinagar.

Management has all arrangements for stay and sightseeing trips. Ramlal was very helpful, looking after all our requirements in the room and restaurant. Mr. Musafir, the driver of the vehicle arranged by the management was a good guide also, explaining important sights and helping us take good photographs on the way. We had a nice time staying in the Hotel Centre Point and had local sightseeing and shopping and visits to Pahalgam and Sonmarg. Thanks.

It is shocked that rating is required only for Central Point in Srinagar, Why not our feed back is required for other Hotel where we have also stayed in Gulmarg and Pehalgam. We felt that we have paid the charges for 3 star Hotel Centre Points for stay in Gulmarg and Pehalgam but facility provided(stary and food) by Hotel Centre Points was not 3 star facility and we are very much disappointed with facility provided to us.

Cetrally located in Srinagar with excellent service,highly recommended for value for money.
