Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group)

Centre point is located at the very center of shillong. The police bazaar circle, bang in the middle of the cacaphony of taxis going "guwahati! guwahati! guwahati" you just can't miss it a triangular building between two lanes radiating out from the circle. Public transport is available easily, but traffic jams here are the norm. The benefits of the location, you can step out anytime and get vehicles for local travel and sightseeing. You can also within a few steps get the best of shillong shopping from rs. 200 apparel to fabindia and from the hottest chillies to the latest electronics to coffee shops, restaurants to even musical instruments. Most rooms are mountain facing, so you get a cool view out of the large glass windows to the surrounding mountains over the indian flag that dominates the foreground and the vivanta about a 100 meters away. Ask for a room on a high floor to get away from the endless sound of honking traffic. The interiors from the reception to the la galarie restaurant are really pretty, and there is a sky lounge on the top floor in case you are in the mood for a drink. Every room on our floor was wood panelled, with bamboo mat carpeting. The bed was relatively small compared not really queen size. The bathrooms need exhaust fans. Light fixtures could be more in number or brighter, for it was a bit gloomy even with all lights on. Service is good and prompt both at the room and restaurant and the morning breakfast had a reasonably good spread. From room service we had chinese and indian, both were good, though the indian was a bit too spicy. Overall a good stay but a little expensive at almost 7k with breakfast. The local travel cost for marketing is zero and among sightseeing locations ward's lake is an excellent option within walking distance. For anything else you have to hire a vehicle.

I had a great stay at the best located property of shillong. The property has a great ambience, comfortable and cozy rooms, wonderful service and a 360 degree view of the most happening locale of this scenic city. The Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) maintains the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene. The breakfast has a reasonably good spread and the rooftop dining has a charm of its own. Ample parking space is available. Overall, i had a memorable stay and look forward to stay here again.

I stayed with my wife and 2 year old kid. The stay was extremely comfortable. The staffs were courteous and warm. The room and the premises were maintained to the highest standards. The complimentary breakfast was a sumptuous one which suited my taste buds. The baby food was complimentary and was provided on order. In house services were quick. Will definitely visit the Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) next time. All the very best to the team.

The overall experience was quite good as we had a comfortable stay with very helpful Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) staff always ready to assist us in case of need. However, the food prices at the Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) are quite high, but i guess that's because of the good quality being served. All in all, a good stay experience. Property's location was apt. However due to proximity to marker there is tendency to get stuck in traffic snarls. However the food and the overall ambience of the Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) was spot on. The staff was especially courteous and prompt. Rooms were also quite cosy and comfortable. Recommend to all.

Property location is excellent. In the heart of police bazar, the popular street of shilong. Food is yummy with good spread in breakfast buffet. Only issue was little noise in the night ( because of its location and also because we went just before new year - party season. Yes, toiletries could be improved

It was near the main area of the commute. Easy access to everything. Food is great. Ac could have worked better instead of just a fan, especially in a non ventilated room. Rest all good

Property location is awesome. I booked a deluxe room for 3 (2 adults and 1 child of 9 years. But the queen size bed if really difficult for 3 of us to adjust. Otherwise Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) service and facilities are really great.

Excellent location and food at the restaurant is amazing. Extremely helpful and warm staff. Only issue was the new year celebration which went into early morning disturbing a bit of sleep.

The view from my room 301 was awesome. Centrally located in police bazar. Great place to enjoy d vibe of police bazaar

Stay at the Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) is very good, beautiful mountains with police bazar crowd can be seen from the room. Breakfast brunch is very good, though today we could not enjoy any khas cuisine.

Centrally located in the heart of shillong main bazaar. Neat and tidy corridors and room. Food is very tasty. Prompt services. Basic amenities provided in the wash room are also good. Overall i like the Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) and graded as excellent.

The stay was comfortable. The Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group) is located right in the middle of main market area of shilllong. Once can get buses and taxi for guwahati roght outside the Hotel Centre Point (by Centre Point Group).
