Hotel Chakasha Govindam (Property Near Devprayag Sangam)

Nice stay, near to Sangam (3kms). Food was ok, staff very co-operative and polite. Car parking also available.

The room was OK, but there were very few basic amenities. The bucket was broken, for example. The Hotel was some distance away from the parking and was uphill, and the caretaker switched off his phone when we were about to reach, so no luggage assistance was provided.

Very nice location, cordial, friendly approach of the Hotel staff. Good and safe for staying with family. Debprayag Sangam is near by.

The environment and rooms very nice and clean the only problem that we had was they used solar panels for heater/geyser. Because of which the water was not hot at all considering the temperature.

Room was clean and good. Restaurant was great. Hot water was dependent on solar heater. Water was just warm. Suggest to improve on hot water availability.

Location and number of rooms is good for a plac3 like devprayag. But they are more focused on the restaurant than rooms as its for travellers. Good hot water, room could have been more ventilated or cleaner. Food was a little spicy but the people and staff are really very nice !

It was a nights stay so not much to add. The rooms were decent and comfortable for the short stay. Since we had a vehicle it was easy to approach sangam on road. This cannot be missed on road. Slightly away from the city. Food was very good with a great variety of icecreams to choose from for desser

Good location and hospitality. Food is not good in devprayag itself. Conveyance is an issue in devprayag as well, so bring your own vehicle.

Location on the Badrinath Marg just before approaching Devaprayag. Vegetarian food-good quality. The Ganges flowing on the back side with a few species of birds of Uttarakhand chirping on the trees. The linen provided did not seem to have been changed.

The people were very helpful and is just 3 KM from the Devprayag sangam. You cannot walk up to the sangam as it's the main road and is filled with heavy vehicles. Food and cleanliness was OK, overall a good place to halt for the night.

The Hotel provided all basic amenities. The services extended were adequate. While the Hotel is not comparable with star hotels, to expect a clean environment and hot food was something great.
