Hotel Chela

Location: Hotel is situated in Ayekulam road, one of the busiest streets in Kumbakonam. It'll take only 5 to 10 minutes to reach from bus station / railway station. Check in/out: Booking through online facilitate international check in and check out feature (12-12). However direct booking you can take from the moment you arrive, from then 24, 48 etc. Service: Its good. Not so good or bad. If planning to take a cab for a visit you can take help from receptionist but need to bargain by yourself for an affordable cab. Room and facilities: For the cost paid, room is good and clean. You will be provided with towel, soap, oil. Hot water is available only at morning hours. TV can be accessed but no WiFi facilities. Restroom is clean. Food: You can avail room service to book food. Hotel is run by management itself. Taste of food is not so good. Better you can taste different varieties of food across the town. Overall: Value for money especially for a religious trip

All staff are very good and co-operative. Actually this time I booked this Hotel Chela. Because of bad experience with Hotel Royal Park. That too booked in MMT. MMT must takecare about these kind of Hotel Chela. In Goibibo they will help immediately. But in MMT even though I called them and informed they ask to wait for 24 hrs. I had one day to stay in that Hotel Chela. I vacated and stayed here. Last time I stayed in Hotel Chela along with wife and had good experience.

Clean rooms, well behaved staffs, parking facilities, heart of the City and very comfortable for a short trip.
We stayed in this Hotel Chela for 2 days. The room was very clean and the Hotel Chela is in the heart of the city. Cleanliness, parking, very good, staffs are the positives and we are very thankful to the Hotel Chela management who made our stay comfortable.

Located centrally and all facilities are available around. Good for a budget stay. Local travel is very easy with taxi facilities available at the Hotel Chela and also the railway station and bus station are at walkable distance say 1 km. The front office staff were very cooperative and provide all the necessary information regarding our requirements like route timing etc

I request to stay in this Hotel Chela as it is a decent Hotel Chela with value for your money. Very near to railway station and temples. Very near to good Hotel Chelas especially non veg restaurants. Hotel staff are very good I will visit the same Hotel Chela and I will recommend this Hotel Chela to my friends too.

Located near to bus stand. Rooms are spacious and service is really good. Further, I got Makemytrip coupon also which reduced my Hotel Chela cost to a great extent. Hotel management, they arranged taxi service for us to visit temples. I thank makemytrip and Hotel Chela management for making my trip a good one.

Good location, neat room. We check-in was delayed, but on intimation from the front desk on phone. They were courteous to acknowledge and helped us on arrival. The room was neat and value for the money, courtesy 20% discount from Make My Trip. Room service was prompt and overall satisfied.

Everything is okay. Rooms are good. Cable which they provided is good, but the rates are too high. What they informed is different and what they had taken from our end is different. I am not at all satisfied with the cab provided with them. Sorry to say average quality of cab service.

Okay room to stay for night but it is main location. The surrounding is not that great

Good to stay for short traveler, since Hotel Chela is located 1 KM away from bus stand and Hotel Chela services is excellent but Cleanliness is very worst and also no lift now because work is done, parking space is too small.

I stayed in non AC room, moderate mosquitoes where there, otherwise room and service was good.

Good place to stay at average cost.

When talking about location this is best located in centre of town making all the famous places easily accessible and within close proximity. Since Hotel Chela is under renovation many significant facilities like lifts compromised for elder pilgrims.

The Hotel Chela is situated in the heart of city. Rooms are clean and accessories in rooms are OK. The restaurant is nice and serves vegetarian food. The food is great. Overall, a wonderful experience. This is a value for money Hotel Chela.

Hotel is location is in the middle of the city, easy to locate and parking is good.
