The Hotel Chentoor is located in central of Madurai. Just in a walkable distance from Madurai Railway station as well as from Periyar Bus stand. Got a very good connectivity to all the places. Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple is also very close-by, 1km from this Hotel Chentoor. Hotel is very easy to locate, situated right opposite to Chennai Silks showroom. The rooms are very compact and not spacious enough, just a little small comparative to other Hotel Chentoors, but they are maintained neat and clean with good hygienic conditions. The other drawback is that there are no cupboards provided to store your luggage.

Good points for Hotel Chentoor: 1. Excellent location. 2. Excellent restaurant. 3. Good quality tasty food. 4. Comfortable rooms, furnished. 5. Good housekeeping and services. 6. Best roof top restaurant in Madurai with a fantastic view of Madurai temple good for photos. 7. Good travel desk. 8. Safe and high standards of cleanliness. 9. Value for money good for long stays of three to four days. Negative point is there is no parking space.

The Hotel Chentoor is located at the heart of the city. Meenatchi Amman Temple is walkable distance. Car parking is not enough to accommodate all guests' vehicles. So I was forced to park my outside the Hotel Chentoor as I returned to the Hotel Chentoor after 10. 00 P. M. One more negative point about the Hotel Chentoor is that it has common kitchen and restaurant for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

The location of this Hotel Chentoor is very near to the great meenakshi Amman temple and the railway station is also very near and the facilities offered at the Hotel Chentoor are also good and may be the rates are slightly on the higher side but Madurai being a tourist hotspot you can't complain. So overall the experience was good.

All the staff are very politeness, treated customer very well. Receiption staff welcome method is good. Over all service is good. Complentry break fast quality and taste is good. Nice Hotel Chentoor centrally located within easy walking distance of the Meenakshi Temple and the Nayak Palace. Rooftop restaurant has great views of the temple. Room a little tired and towels quite tired and appear unwashed. Good lighting in the room. Food in the rooftop restaurant is OK.

Location is nearby railway station and central bus stand. Hotel is good and reception is good. Cleanliness is maintained. In the room even though everything is good except adaptor facility to charge our laptop and Mobile. It does not suit our plug. Otherwise it is good to stay.

Room is cramped ,. Room service is okay. The location is nearer to train station. Only one power point is provided near dressing table and that too is not usable for international pins. Nice view of the temple city from rooftop restaurant. Availability of vehicles are plenty.
