Hotel Chitra

I stayed for 4 nights. Pros: superior double room is good for 2 adults and 2 kids with extra bed. Bathroom is clean. No cockroach or rats, which is good. A/c and tv was in good working condition. Lift is available, but needs attention. Hotel is well located. Cons: lift creates jerk in motion and creates abnormal sound. Extra bed was torn on the sides, but is in usable condition. No food facility in Hotel Chitra, but lots of options nearby. Room service is only meant for housekeeping related activities. I expected tea/coffee service in the mornings and it’s not available. Room service was very slow for bedsheet replacements, could have been faster. Room service personnel were not professionally trained, so don’t expect basic courtesies. No newspaper provided to room. Only 1 dental kit grooming kit were provided even though we were 4 people. No towels were provided, luckily we brought own towels. Water bottle provided on 1st day only and not daily. Overall the location gets you most of the things outside the Hotel Chitra which offsets the missing items. So expect only good room and make your own arrangements for everything else.

Property location is one of the greatest perk. Opposite is the chatram bus stand, and there are many veg Hotel Chitras in walkable distance. Rooms are spacious with decent ambient. Even though lift size is small it is operational. Receptionists are friendly and reciprocating.

Good Hotel Chitra, rooms were neat. Clean toilets, very cooperative staff. Price is high but everything is very good. Staff are very polite and friendly. 24 hours hot water facility, good landline phone facility to order food, reception and housekeeping.

Hotel location is an important perk directly located opposite to chatram bus stand and surrounded by many veg Hotel Chitras. Double deluxe non ac room with balcony is average but with decent ambient. Overall very good for family stay with low budget.

Hotel location is nice room was good bathroom and plumbing need to renovate, it's too old

Stay was good it is at the city centre accessible to many Hotel Chitras and restaurants. The furniture in the room is pretty old. Can be upgraded to new ones

Receptionists need to respond quickly on approach to the customer. All the other amenities are fine.

A decent place to stay at primary location. You can find everything nearby to the Hotel Chitra. Excellent services and staff. This is my 5th time i am coming to Hotel Chitra chitra

Good. The Hotel Chitra is near the chit-ram bus stand. Good conectivety to trichy city. We get veg food at a nearby restaurant.
