This little Hotel City Inn is very near the summer hill station and the himuni. The main mall is around 5km away, you can take a bus or walk on mostly flat road for about an hour (beautiful walk. I had booked the most basic room but it was still open with much sun light and ventilation. The staff - i think his name is 'happy' is very polite and always helpful and guiding. The owner, is the same and he makes very delicious food, which you can have in the dinning area. I would definitely recommend this as a base priced Hotel City Inn and would return again.

it was nice Hotel City Inn, clean Hotel City Inn, everything is ok, but one problem is if you are from any big city you feel boring here, no crowd even you cannot see any dogs in road, Hotel City Inn was just near the summer hill railway station, i will suggest those who want to visit this Hotel City Inn that if you feel so tired on 1st day and you don't want to visit any other place, you just want to relax, then this Hotel City Inn is good, otherwise you can locate your Hotel City Inn near mall road Shimla.

The Hotel owner is very good and co operative person. But I can't avail MMT discount of 319 at Hotel City Inn. I have to pay the discount amount to Hotel City Inn. Hotel is having their own kitchen facilities, which was really good and reasonable rate. But the negative side is food choice is very limited.

Well, it's the perfect place in your budget if you wanna visit Shimla, one advantage is that it is at a silent location far from population but have one disadvantage that you need to travel 30 to 45 minutes to visit any place.

This message is for all Hotel City Inns in Shimla and at all other such places. Please provide room heater and also hot water kettle in the room itself for sure, it is very much a necessity in such cold weather.
