The Hotel City Palace is prime located. As discussed, the vehicle was ready to pick up. The ever smiling young entrepreneur was at hand to receive us. We were ushered into the third floor room. Complimentary breakfast followed. Young entrepreneur helped me plan out our itinerary for next 7 days. His tips to do or don't do in an environment like Ladakh was of immense help. The room services, the food and the restaurant were just fantastic. Vehicle provided with the ever smiling driver was a joy. Three of my friends have already talked about visiting Ladakh soon. If I visit Leh again my destination would be Hotel City Palace.

Our first stay was at The City Palace, We need to extend our stay for one more day because of extreme weather and the time when The Hotel City Palace authorities supported us with all possible help. This is most important when someone traveling to Ladakh without much knowledge about its weather, conditions & other important facts.
The owner was extremely supportive, given very valuable advise, needed when traveling to places like Ladakh. Highly recommend.

We stayed in multiple Hotel City Palaces on our Ladakh trip, and City Palace is the best of them. Centrally located, walking distance to the markets, quick service, and most importantly cell phone signals work including 4G. Breakfast was good, staff were eager to help, and their version of Badam Kahwah tea was a highlight of our stay there. Highly recommended. Niaz, the owner, was quite helpful, and he helped to arrange for our transport and bookings at other places in Ladakh. Well priced too.

A really nice Hotel City Palace easy walking to town centre. The staff were really friendly as most people see to be in Leh. We went a bit late season really in second week October. So was cold and Hotel City Palace rooms were freezing overnight. Should have gone in August. If I go again, will stay in same Hotel City Palace.
