Hotel Cliffton

The last time i stayed at clifton was in 1988 and it was great to stay there again after 35 years. The place is walkable distance from the lake and has plenty of space for kids to play. On the con side there is no in house restaurant or room service, however this seems a minor issue since it has more than a dozen restaurants nearby. They provide a kettle so brewing our own morning coffee was possible. Another issue was the flies which comes in through the bathroom exhaust, we solved it by keeping the exhaust switched on during the entire stay, even while we were out. Overall, i would certainly recommend this place, it has nice cottages, plenty of space, landscaped gardens and the advantage of being a stone throw away from the lake.

Good stay, and nice view from the Hotel Cliffton, safe for families, located near lake, ease access to street foods and shoping. But it would have been better if they offers free breakfast for that amount, we need to pay separate amount for breakfast (150 per head. Other Hotel Clifftons provides break fast for the same amount, but breakfast is good. And tv is not working, informed many timea, they told they will send the staff but they dint, after that they told the reason it's not working due to bad whether. These are few cons we faced. Other wise it's good to stay.

We stayed at clifton for two days. It was an awesome experience out there. Room was big, beautiful & overall ambience was awesome. We liked everything about clifton. Nearby markets, tourist spots made our stay comfortable. It's near lake, museum, coaker's walk & bryant park. Nearby markets have good food options. You could explore many places which is nearby Hotel Cliffton clifton. Thank you clifton group for awesome hospitality.

I stayed with my family for 3 days. It was a nice and pleasant stay at Hotel Cliffton from check in to check out. Hotel staffs from travel desk and restaurant service are so kind and guided us. Specific to that village tour were we went was well arranged and guided. I want to highlight the vegetarian south indian food was really good and made with home taste. Thanks to Hotel Cliffton cliff-ton md and staff!

Pros. Booking and check in is smooth at the resort. Scenic resor. Good maintenance. Lawn and big beautiful spaces around. Near to lake and restrooms are excellent cons. The resort doesn't allow us for campfire for our family. But allowed for others who had drunken. Strict checkout time. No flexibility. Drunkard disturb ed other families. Noone to contro.

It was a good stay. Pros: 1. Location. Close to lake 2. Childrens will enjoy playing in the lawn. 3. Polite staff. 4. Good parking space. Cons: 1. No proper restaurant. Breakfast provided. Very limited menu. 2. For lunch/dinner need to walk for 15 mins. In winter, it will be difficult. At-least they should buy and give from outside and charge for it.

Nice big clean Rooms, Good Landscapes , Playarea for kids are present but not maintained. Service is good, No restaurant in the resort which was a drawback for us as we preferred to stay in the resort with kids due to heavy traffic in the city becoz of peak season. Overall good experience 🙂 and i recommend the resort.

Pros: stayed for 3 nights 4 days. Hotel location was good (near kodai lake. Overall beautiful place for stay. Breakfast, tea was also very good. Cons: staff did not change the bedsheets/towels. And their timing for cleaning is 1-3 pm. You need to put effort to do this work done. Dinner is not good.

The place and staff both were very good especially the manager Bala. He was very cooperative and soft-spoken. 100% one of the best place to stay in Kodai.

Need improvement on room service, no travel desk, available. Kitchen is not clean

Overall experience was good. Neat and well maintained property. Has got a small children's park and a lawn. Breakfast is good. Improvement suggestion: need to have dinner.

Had a pleasant stay at the Hotel Cliffton in kodaikanal. The rooms were nice and the garden was well-maintained, perfect for kids to enjoy. It's conveniently located about 1 km from the lake. However, the cost could be slightly lower, perhaps around 20% less.

The Hotel is well maintained. The staff are good. Breakfast is ok. The room provided was spacious. However, we asked for a room in upper floor, but it was declined as I have booked through make my trip.

Due to diwali restaurant was not working properly, other wise room and lawn everything was quite superb
