Hotel D' Chalet ,Manali

We were pretty excited for our stay at Hotel D' Chalet, but to our surprise, it was really disappointing. The staff was really helpful and polite but the Hotel D' Chalet ,Manali didn't have light so it was working on an inverter, hence not all their facilities could be used well. The food was good. Heaters were provided but at a cost. We asked if there is going to be a bonfire as it was cold and was snowing, they said it could be prepared at a cost. It seems kind of disappointing when you pay extra for a day and you have to pay for every other facility or amenity. The room was clean and very vintage in looks but was very weirdly spaced out. The geyser did not work properly. We had to have bath with ice-cold water in 3 weather. All in all, it was a pretty average stay.

I stayed at D' Chalet for two nights and two days. It was a great place to stay. The rooms are so spacious and clean. The staff is very courteous and considerate. Property is so well maintained and classy . Located at the heart of Manali. Mall Road, Hadimba temple and old Manali are like juxtaposed. I would recommend that this is the best Hotel D' Chalet ,Manali to check in whenever you are in Manali. Sanjay sir the owner is a very helpful and accommodating. I've been frequenting Manali quite often so I believe I've found a home away from home at D' Chalet. Would be here again whenever I'm in Manali and would strongly recommend other folks to visit and make their stay worth remembering and to be etched in your best memories .Absolutely loved It .

The place was a little hard to find as I had reached during the night & it wasn't properly lit enough to be noticed immediately. This place at first looked really scary & I kind of panicked as to how it would be. But the owner of the building was quiet a friendly person & treated us with great care. We had booked a duplex and it was worth the money. It was a beautiful room. The building and rooms could be maintained better. The bathroom was quiet ok but I didn't mind it. The water was brown at first and then slowly changed to normal. As I said before, this place can surely be well maintained to attract more people.

The rooms were spacious, well furnished and ventilated well. Perhaps the rooms on upper floors may have a view of some snow capped mountains. Unfortunately, there is some noise coming from the opposite Hotel D' Chalet ,Manali karaoke or singers after dinner. But that should be a problem only if you sleep early. Service was good, food was excellent and portions are very generous for room service. At breakfast, an order of cornflakes would suffice 3 people! Other food portions are decent. The manager is helpful and cheerful. They have space for parking a few cars. It is only 2 minutes walk from Old Manali.

We stayed just for a day in this Hotel D' Chalet ,Manali, but the overall experience was good. The Hotel is closer to the Mall Road and one can walk down. We had booked a family suite and the room was very much the same as seen online. They had a tree house which kids liked a lot! The staff was courteous and it was more of a homely environment when it comes to service. The bed sheets were not clean but they changed it when asked. Hotel doesn't have a lift but is manageable. They don't provide tea/coffee maker in the rooms.

A place that people would love to go and stay. The staff are really polite and friendly. The room view is so peaceful that i am amazed with it. And its very spacious too. Should really visit their Hotel D' Chalet ,Manali.

Located at old Manali, we were greeted by a gentle receptionist who provided us everything that was mentioned in the ad. But being one of the coldest places in country we were amazed by the fact that there was no heater placed at room. But when we asked the receptionist it was informed that its available only by a paying an amount. That I found to be a little over the top expense. Otherwise it was a nice stay

The best part of the Hotel D' Chalet ,Manali is the location, stayed two nights in standard room, third due to non availability of Standard Room booked Family Suite, to my utter surprise standard room was much more nice as compared to the suite, the suite room was too smelly & bathroom had insects. The food is good & Mr Thapa the General Manager of the Hotel D' Chalet ,Manali is a gem of a person.

Though the property is bit old but the manager and staff there is very friendly and welcoming had an amazing stay at the place enjoyed at the fireplace area

Very good location, Hotel D' Chalet ,Manali has its own parking and park up to 4-5 vehicles. Rooms are spacious, we got deluxe room with two beds, which had a very cute balcony. Bathrooms are also very clean and has ample of light. Only drawback is that we get no sunshine in the room or balcony

Location is near to old Manali and it is pleasant to stay here. Facilities were good. The paranthas were super tasty. They have pool table to pass your time and they also provide cabs to fetch you to nearby places like Rohtang pass.

It was overall a good experience. The room was well maintained and whole place was awesome. The room had good mountain view from the balcony and had huge windows overlooking the mountains with beautiful curtains.

It was a beautiful stay. The room was very spacious. The location of the Hotel D' Chalet ,Manali is amazing and was a plus point. The manager is a sweetheart.

Over all ambiance of the place is amazing. Except the food taste is not that great! We had ordered biriyani it was like fried rice with Indian spices.

It is good Hotel D' Chalet ,Manali, near to club house road, value for money, good staff, good ambience... Wi-Fi... Big room There should be room heater inside room. Veg, non veg joint Hotel D' Chalet ,Manali, big troublesome for me, as I am strict vegetarian.

Best service, facilities. Made us feel home. Restaurant run by a Doctor - though the food is bit costlier, they are quite good. Sambar has the typical South Indian touch.

Staff are very friendly... Cleanness is good. But the location is little bit far from market. Rating is 3 star but the Hotel D' Chalet ,Manali is like 2 star. Some modification is required.
