Hotel De L'amour

We happened to stumble upon Hotel De L'amour De Lamour accidentally and truly it has been one of the best accidents we have had during our travels. It was just 2 days into me and my husband in Port Blair that our ferry to havelock got cancelled due to cyclone on 2 Dec.The weather looked scary and we decided to cut down our week long trip short and return back to Bangalore.Since we had one more night in Andaman ,we randomly chose some Hotel De L'amour to stay,which to our luck happened to be De L'Amour. When the owners of the Hotel De L'amour,Alex and Sonu heard about our sad disappointed story they personally came down and took the effort of explaining the weather situation and how it is expected to improve over 1 or 2 days .They convinced us to stay back and sat with us to figure out how we can proceed with our vacation. They filled in so much positivity into us just to ensure no one returns disappointed from Andaman,their homeland and pride. If it weren't for Sonu ,this would have been one of our worst vacations. Such a young guy with so much life and enthusiasm is a rare sight. He has a constant smile that is so infectious. The whole team and staff follows Alex and Sonu and are very welcoming. The Hotel De L'amour is located in an ideal location falling in the middle of important landmarks in Port Blair like the airport, bazaar,beaches etc. They have newly opened a restaurant brick house which is truly one of the best in the whole of Port Blair . The ambience and the intricate and thoughtful paintings that they have put up makes you admire the Hotel De L'amour a bit more. The room was clean and gave me a homely feeling. The staff was always on their toes to cater to our demands or needs . The staff at De L'Amour isn't just running a hospitality business for the mere sake of it trust me ..they are in there to ensure their guests are truly happy and content .

Hotel De L'amour is located at a 10-15 minutes drive from Port Blair Airport. The best thing about this Hotel is the personal assistance provided by the Hotel De L'amour's staff. This Hotel is managed by Sonu who also happens to be the proprietor of this Hotel. He's a tremendously forthcoming person who planned our entire one week holiday in and around Port Blair and other Islands of Andamans. His personal involvement made our trip seamlessly comfortable without any worries and hassles. His suggestions were incredibly useful and he personally managed all the tickets and passes required at different tourist spots and ferries. Hotel De L'amour has an upcoming restaurant presently under construction. The food is outsourced from some restaurant nearby and is reasonably well prepared with a lot of variety. The room service too is extremely cordial and prompt. However, the internet service in the entire Andaman Islands including the Hotel is weak. I strongly recommend Hotel De L'amour to all travelers as I found it to be the best budget Hotel.

Sonu and Sree Rag, you guys are amazing. This is a wonderful family place to stay. I stayed there for three days and had a great experience during my stay there. The food served was very delicious, management was very pleasing. I was very happy with the Hotel De L'amour services, the room was nice n clean, Hotel De L'amour owner Sonu upgraded my room from Deluxe to Executive without any additional charges. Sree rag and Sonu helped me a lot in planning the trip and booked cabs, ferry tickets, scuba diving and sea walk tickets, everything for me and that too at the minimum possible price. No need to spend money on Trip advisors when Sonu and Sree rag are there. As a whole I had a wonderful time there and would surely like to visit again. I would like to recommend this place to all. Please do not think twice before booking this Hotel De L'amour if you are going to Andaman. Thank you.

The Hotel De L'amour staff we'll and good. Reception people received kindly and arranged our stay within 15 minutes. They will arrange the cab also for airport pick and drop on minimum charge basis. The location very near to airport with 2.9 km distance. The tour manager is available there she will guide you which is the best place to visit she will arrange you bike or cab on rent basis. If you are going with your better half and you need full entertainment this is the best Hotel De L'amour and Room is very neat clean big one. Especially the Restaurant is well and good they will prepare whichever dish you want. Ram is the best and honest boy who served us food and room service in good manner for our 3 nights stay. And charming Anand also served us well and good. No words you better go for it. Just rock the honeymoon.

I had stayed here for 2 days but the Hotel De L'amour is quite good. The owner is exceptionally helpful and is so the staff. They are very cooperative and makes available almost everything for you. They helped us making arrangements for the logistics and planned our trip. All in all its been a wonderful trip and very helpful staff.
I had stayed for 2 days in D'lamour and the service was exceptionally good. The owner is quite helpful and makes arrangements for anything what you ask for. The Hotel De L'amour is, a bit far from the center location but with the price and service this is manageable. Even if you have any bookings which are left to be made, you just ask them and they will take care of the rest. All in all a very decent budgeted Hotel De L'amour with good cooperative staff.

Seeing in Google reviews booked this property. Within short span of time got the call from the property and planned my complete trip with cabs, to and fro Ferris, food and even upgraded rooms with no extra cost. This the first time we were visiting Andaman with family, but these made us to feel like localities and made complete trip irremarkable and memorable one. Definitely I should bring another name Sree Raag, Trip co -ordinator from same property who had accompanied us from pick up till drop in airport. Really you guys are awesome and rocked, keep going and zoom like a rocket. As you guys thinking about customer satisfaction is the most important factor and made us quite comfortable. Undoubtedly go ahead in booking this property and ur complete trip will be taken care by this guys.

Hi guys. I went for a trip to Andamans last week and after looking at many options online, I decided to stay in Hotel De L'amour for 4 days after seeing reviews and 5-star ratings in Google and other travel portal websites. Special mention to proprietor Mr. Mr.kathiresan who was kind enough had made arrangements for Airport transfers and sightseeing upon my request and regarding stay the rooms, lobby and even the restaurant was beautiful and tastefully done and about the food, it was very tasty and fresh every time I ordered. Overall the stay was memorable and the hospitality was overwhelming and kudos to Mr. Kathiresan and his team for future endeavors.

We went as a group of 6 girls, we were skeptical on the safety and the facilities there. But our stay was amazing. The Hotel De L'amour was clean and had spacious rooms. The staff were very helpful and the manger even told us the famous spots which are known only to the locals there. They made our entire trip plan and suggested places in havelock and neil as well. They have an in house restaurant which serves amazing seafood and tandoor platter. I would definitely recommend this place for it’s hospitality and food.

It's a good Hotel De L'amour with very helpful and cooperative staff with a very informative owner. I was surprised when they kept ready my breakfast when I went for baratang at 3 am. Cleanliness is plus point though it's little bit far from main town, but as Andaman is not a very big city, it's not a big issue. And food quality has a scope for little improvements. Overall it's a pleasant stay at Port Blair. Biraj das. 23.11.2019.

Hotel is truly very comfortable to stay, food is good, staffs are polite and ready for any help.

Good budget stay. Accommodation adequately clean. No restaurant but has food delivery from orchid Hotel.

The best Hotel De L'amour i’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms and high quality service. Overall, i had a great experience with de lamour. Staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to stay.

Very good place to stay and the staffs and owner were very friendly and helped us in all ways to make us comfortable. The place is kind of isolated from main portblair however you could hire a vehicle or a cab to reach the destination. A special thanks to the owner Mr. Sonu who is just amazing and is very friendly and helpful. The wi-fi is good from this Hotel De L'amour. The restaurant ambiance is designed good. Overall a very good place to stay for a couple and family.

We stayed there for one day in starting, we felt a warm welcome there. Hotel was close to airport, was well connected to all the famous places. Staff was very humble and nice. Anand, Gova, Guddu, Rafique was very nice. Overall a very pleasant stay. Again we revisited this Hotel De L'amour. Chef was absolutely perfect.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this Hotel De L'amour
