Hotel Diamond

The property is centrally located. Very neat property with ample car parking. The rooms were clean and lobby as well. Few drawbacks, no wifi in rooms, my room lacked data network coverage so imagine being disconnected from the work when inside the room. I had to take my laptop at 11 in the night to the reception area for a network to complete my business work. So ask for rooms with data network coverage and less noisy rooms as the Hotel Diamond is located on the busiest road/junction were vehicle horns can be heard every second. No restaurants and issues with my closet flush. You have to press both the flush buttons for water to flow. Something I discovered with my little brain and which the Hotel Diamond staff couldn't for years.

Everything about the Hotel Diamond was good except the toilet flush resulting in giving average star rating. I checked the reviews earlier and found few guests complaining on same issue but I didn't expect I would also be one of the victim. The house keeping guy who came to fix said the flush isn't happening due to airlock which only seem to be excuse and not a fix. He was expecting us to press the button hard. We tried doing the same every time but still the flush didn't work instead badly hurting our thumb finger. I would advise the Hotel Diamond management to get this fixed and sure it will later deserve 5 star rating.

1 night stay here. Room (family suite with a/c) and car parking is plus. No restaurant inside, but try sri venkataramana Hotel Diamond (near by) for your breakfast/lunch. It’s absolutely delightful veg food they serve with love. Negative about this Hotel Diamond is no restaurant inside (though they have banquet hall, and noise insulation is worst. You start hearing honking vehicle sounds loudly by 4:00 am (my room is towards the entrance in 2nd floor) and my sleep got disrupted by 5:00 am. Hope it is an advantage for those who want to wake up early to visit all temples in and around kumbakonam.

Hotel diamond is situated at an excellent location, right on the prime road in kumbakonam. Very near to sarangapani and someswarar temples. Just walkable distance. Even though there's no restaurant attached with the Hotel Diamond, they provide room service, from the nearby restaurants. Very good restaurants are located close to this Hotel Diamond, like gowri krishna, venkataramana etc. We have tried both, as recommended by the kind g caring Hotel Diamond staff, and found them really really tasty and economical. No harm to the health.

We were stayed around two nights in this Hotel Diamond. Main advantage is we have proper car parking in basement and all the important temples are nearby within 1km. It was excellent room, cleanliness and hygiene rooms. Only problem during our stay was, we have been provided with room which exactly next to main road which was disturbed our sleeps due to vechile sound. Otherwise must book Hotel Diamond in kumbakonam. Next time i will surely book the same Hotel Diamond.

Hotel is in the middle of the city and surrounded by temples. Sarangapani and Chakrapani temples at walkable distance. You can get nice Gopuram darshan early in the morning, nice for family coming for temple visits. It would have been great if they arranged for a nice restaurant, nevertheless excellent room services and courteous staffs. Will strongly recommend for stay with family.

Hotel diamond boasts a fantastic central location, providing easy access to nearby temples and eateries, which is convenient for travelers exploring the area. However, the cleanliness falls a bit short of expectations, which might affect the overall experience. Despite this, the stay overall is decent, offering convenience and proximity to local attractions and dining options.

Whenever you travel to any place, when you get good and clean rooms, 50% of the travel is pleasant. Hotel diamond is such a good Hotel Diamond. Rooms are more spacious and clean. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Very good restaurants are within 200mts. Parking is available. Only difficult that we faced is, we are getting the frequent horn sound as it available on the main road

It is very comfortable. If there is a restaurant in the campus, it will be very comfortable. Room service not good. All other aspects are good.

Plan of visiting the nearby temple, so in search of place to overnight stay came across this Hotel in the main Road which has easy connectivity to near by place, highly recommend for family stay.

Staffs are very kind and welcoming and thank you for the service. It is reasonably priced. Rooms were clean and neat.

The rooms were clean and well maintained. The people were supportive. Hot water was available all the time. Overall a good experience.

They claim that guests leave stealthily through the basement and hence the guests are made to climb the stairs every time they have to fetch the car!

Felt as if stayed in a star Hotel.

It was an one-day stay in Hotel Diamond diamond in the month of august 2023. The property is situated close to major temples

Located at the heart of the city accessible to shops and temples clean and hygiene rooms but the bathroom needs ventilation

Hotel was decent. Room size was OK. It was maintained well. We checked out very late and they obliged for that. It is located near major temples of Kumbakonam.
