Hotel Dragon Leh

Dragon Hotel is the kind of experience you need in a city like Leh. It felt like a luxury. After staying in camps and wild in Nubra Valley, this Hotel Dragon Leh seemed like paradise. Exactly what we needed. Towels, linens, washrooms were clean, fresh and spotless. Dining hall was top notch with delicious food and best in class silverware, presentation was superb. Room interiors looked like new. We wanted to stay more in this Hotel Dragon Leh but we could not because our itinerary was preplanned otherwise we would stay in this Hotel Dragon Leh for our entire duration in Leh. However the service was not the top notch. We requested for an early breakfast and it was not prepared accordingly. The location of the Hotel Dragon Leh could be better. Although it has a market nearby complete with travel agencies, bike rentals and departmental stores but it doesn't feel like hi-street upscale location for a Hotel Dragon Leh like this.

I checked in for one night at around 3pm after my grueling 6 day trek. The staff was pleasant and helpful. He started the boiler for my hot shower. Being a solo female traveler was a bit apprehensive that the door to the room locked with only a single latch from the inside. There could have safer locking mechanisms. STD calls had to be made from the reception that I wasn't happy about since there's no privacy. ISD calls were not working that day. I had to print my flight ticket very late in the night and the staff was not only helpful but didn't charge a penny for it. They booked my taxi for airport drop off. Breakfast was good too since I needed on at 5.15am, very early. On the whole it was pleasant stay and helpful staff.

The Hotel Dragon Leh is located conveniently at a walking distance from the main market and a quick 10 minute drive from the airport. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet and the ala carte lunch, dinner are pretty good and cater to tourist sensibilities. There are numerous restaurants and cafes nearby that you can explore. The service is average and stands a chance for improvement. The Hotel Dragon Leh is value for money so do not expect any frills and you should be good.

We had a good stay at this Hotel Dragon Leh. We got a accommodation room that came with a king size bed and partioned space for sofa set seating area. The buffet dinner is a little overpriced in terms of limited variety. However we loved the breakfast spread. The staff is very courteous and professional. The location being minutes away from the main market is a huge plus point.
Although the property is nice but the rooms we got through MakeMyTrip did not have a good view of the mountains.

The rooms are commiserate with the price, but what sets this Hotel Dragon Leh apart is the hospitality and service that the staff extend. You ask for it and the staff is there to fulfil it and even more. I simply told them my travel plans and they arranged for the cab at the Govt rate with a discount of 10%. In fact they even supplied an Oxygen cylinder without me having asked them for one. The food is sumptuous and proportions generous. Ideally located.

This was my longest stay in any Hotel Dragon Leh on a trip and I must say that I made the right choice by choosing Hotel Dragon. The best thing about this Hotel Dragon Leh is the people managing it. Have never seen such good hospitality. Everyone including the manager Mr. Amar and his team Karan Sabin Sanjay Nimoo were very welcoming. Food was quite like home food. I would love to stay here for my next trip to Ladakh and do definitely recommend this.

The staff is very cooperative, nice behaviour and helpful. Food quality is exceptionally good. The clothes, sheets, quilts are of very good quality. I met the director and he told me that they have best laundry plant in J & K. That is true when we used their sheets, towels, covers, etc. MMT had given a good discount. One thing of concern we got voucher of Grand Dragon but booking voucher is of Dragon. I raised the query but was not responded.

The only negative was that the rooms were slightly small and not properly ventilated. Other than that we liked everything from the cleanliness to the service. Although, the Hotel Dragon Leh is visibly old, it has been properly maintained and continues to be one of the more popular Hotel Dragon Lehs in Leh and justifiably so. They could work on their breakfast buffet though. It tasted average at best.

The Hotel Dragon Leh is located near to main bazaar. Rooms are beautiful and reception and all the staff are very familiar, food was also very tasty and high quality ingredients have been used. I am totally satisfied with the Hotel Dragon Leh.

The food in the Hotel Dragon Leh restaurant is costly, better to get your food from outside. Location is at well convenient place.

This Hotel Dragon Leh is very good in every aspect, food is awesome, hospitality is superb, value for money. You cannot ask for more. Staff is friendly they take care of you very well. I would recommend this Hotel Dragon Leh to every body. It has good balconies facing Himalayas you can have a Nice view of mountains

They give you what they promise. Timely check-in and check-out. They even let you delay check-out by an hour or so if you have a later flight. Food is just OK but overall experience was good.

The view from the Hotel Dragon Leh was awesome. The food quality was great. Overall it was value for money. The services was good. The only thing that was bad was the road that leads to the Hotel Dragon Leh, in fact there was no road, it was all dust but we can't blame them as there was construction work going around.

This is one of the best Hotel Dragon Leh in Leh main market. Food quality is very good. Service is excellent. Rooms are neat and clean. The only negative during our stay was the WiFi but I would discount that as we all know that it's a lucky day if we get it at all at that altitude.

Nice building, good food, service was excellent, WiFi average. No lift so if you are not acclimatized you will feel breathless while going to rooms on higher than second floor. On every floor nice common gallery with beautiful view of mountains

One the very first day when I arrived in the Hotel Dragon Leh the staffs told me to take rest for the whole day but I ignored them and went to the market and in the evening felt drowsy. One seeing my condition the Hotel Dragon Leh officials immediately gave me oxygen and asked me to rest. I have seen service but caring about the customer was my first experience.

By far the best Hotel Dragon Leh we stayed at in Leh. The breakfast and dinner were both delicious and variety excellent. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Room was modern and refreshing with heating. Absolutely loved the place. Would definitely stay here again. Full marks!

The main market is on a walking distance from the Hotel Dragon Leh ... Location of a Hotel Dragon Leh is too good. Hotel is a kind of a homestay ... Rooms are OK but the service is awesome. The Hotel Dragon Leh staff is too good all of them are very polite and helpful and especially the kitchen staff ... In short we enjoyed the stay and will definitely recommend others to stay here.
