Hotel Durga

I have booked three rooms for me and my family in Hotel Durga durga while visiting Katra for darshan of shri vaishno devi maa on 17 May 2013. USP of the Hotel Durga is its location opposite bus stand, auto stand and taxi stand. it is located in the main chowk of market at katra. Room service and hospitality was excellent and prompt. Food served in the room was of good quality and served hot. Since the Hotel Durga is almost 20 years old, it's condition requires repair and refurnishing. Rooms were airy, spacious and clean. Plus point is rooms have their separate balcony. Bathroom was clean and spacious. To sum up, stay in durga Hotel Durga is satisfactory and worth for money. I recommend this Hotel Durga.

I went Vaishno Devi in June end of 2016 with my family having 1 year kid. Hotel Durga location is best because it is just in front of Vaishno Devi ticket counter and in front of Bus stand + Auto Stand. Location is best, clear and visible from long distance. Room condition and size was not good. But I must say AC was working superbly. Service is good staff was gentle. Basic facilities for travellers. Overall I would love to give 3. 5.

The Hotel Durga facilities are good its value for money most important role of the property is the location I. E. Nearby market, bus & taxi stand etc. Nice view in the heart of the city. Market and Shrine board ticketing, all in easy access. And everything is at walking distance, easy access to all major restaurants etc.

Taxi stand right in front of Hotel Durga and overall experience is okay and recommending for others as well because of the location. But on the other side location is very noisy because of taxi stand.

Good experience. Rooms are clean and well furnished along with facilities. This is our first trip as a couple and we enjoyed a lot. Hotel is just in front of parchi counter and very near by main market. This market is also very cheap, you can purchase akhrot, dry apple, kaju in affordable amount.

Thanks makemytrip. One should stay at Durga Hotel, best Hotel Durga and it is in front of yatra booking counter. Every travel desk is outside of Hotel Durga. Market is also at walking distance. Food people are fantastic. I finish my yatra in the morning 8 o'clock and my room time is 12 o'clock.

Location is at the centre of Katra, walking distance from bus stand and ticket counter. Hotel staff are cordial and helpful. On asking for additional bed, I was provided without any additional cost. However, Dormitory facility for driver is not available. Locker facility is also. Available.

I booked this Hotel Durga for about 450 per day and for that the hospitality and room was just apt. And about location I don't think any other Hotel Durga in Katra is better than this. Also it's one of the oldest in Katra so with family feel free to stay. Staff is cordial and helpful.

Very conveniently located opposite to Bus Stop and has lots of shops and restaurants around. Rooms are not very good it being an old Hotel Durga but service is good. Good for short stay of 1-2 days.

Facilities are up to the mark except there was no facility of pick and drop as I have seen with other Hotel Durgas to ban gangs. It should be there for better customer compliance but otherwise rest is good about this Hotel Durga.

Hotel having good location and everything nearby and walkable. Staff are cooperative and helpful. Auto stand just outside. Room service available. Many food points outside and many other shops available too.

Cupboard was full of termites. Even the bathroom door was full of termites.

I really love this Hotel Durga because it's provide excellent hospitality, best accommodation, located near market and bus stand. All staff member are so cooperative. This Hotel Durga is situated at year yatra.

They have to cleaned bathroom. Service is good. Charging point is not available.
There is no clean bathroom. Mobile charging point is required. Television is disturbing.
Bathrooms is not clean. Television is not working properly. Mobile charging point is missing.

Do not stay in a non AC room.

Very nice & family nature staff of Hotel Durga.

Nice room. Convenient location, market, taxi stand, Yatra registration counter and everything is very nearby. You don't have to walk very far for food when you come back from yatra. Only drawback is their is no lift in Hotel Durga.

I like this type of facilities and I did enjoy that moment.
