Hotel excellency, bhubaneshwar is good value for money Hotel Excellency and it's the best if you are planning to board train from bhubaneshwar railway station. Staff here is very friendly and helpful. I have stayed in this Hotel Excellency several times and i have found staying here really good option for boarding train from bhubaneshwar station n upcoming journey. However, this time i got electrocuted in bathroom. I was taking off my t shirt and my hand accidentally got touched to the bathroom mirror led strip lamp. The led strip lamp cover is made of metal and there was current leakage on the metal frame. I was anyways not feeling well due to some health issues related anemia and high levels of sgpt/bilirubin because of which i had insomnia, upset stomach and foggy brain activity. This electrocution incident worsened my condition. I have raised safety issue with the staff and they are looking into it. Other than this recent incident, this Hotel Excellency is pretty safe and convenient.

It's a decent and perfect stay here. Biggest advantage is location. It has both railway station and bus stand in 50 meters distance what else is needed. I travel-led to puri and konark on government bus with an amount of 400 rupees both onward and return journey using govt bus no need to book tourism bus. And the Hotel Excellency has in house restaurant which will be opened till 11pm which is a blessing. Breakfast buffet is good and the items are delicious. Breakfast buffet contains both south indian varieties and north indian varieties both.

Perfect stay for family with great amenities and lavish buffet breakfast. Received warm welcome from Hotel Excellency staff specially bell boy and reception staff. Very friendly with the kids and made our stay very comfortable. Rooms are very well equipped with everything. Location is also perfect if you are travel-ling by train. Main tourist attraction like ram mandir and main market is very nearby.

Overall experience was good. However, when we requested for some cutlery to have our own food, the Hotel Excellency staff asked us for extra charges of 200- only for 2 plates. I have never seen such type of unprofessional and impolite behavior especially in a 3 star Hotel Excellency. This needs to be immediately acted upon. Also, shower kit that was provided wasn't upto a minimum standard.

• Convenient, right beside the Bhubaneswar Railway Station and Master Canteen Bus Terminal. • Rooms (Executive Room) are not that big but are well maintained. • In room dining is pretty good including the food (Although menu prices are a little higher side). • Good staff behaviour and pretty classy ambience. • Best after Swosti Grand. • Overall pretty nice stay near Railway Station

Hotel excellency is exactly on platform no 1, it's hospitality, food quality, service, amenities, cleanliness, hygiene are truly no 1. I would strongly suggest you to stay in this Hotel Excellency if you are commuting by train. Most importantly each and every staff is extremely friendly and they take care of the guests like family members. It's a lovely Hotel Excellency, for sure.

Very good stay. Rooms are very good. Service delivery persons are very polite and courteous. Location is the main advantage. You get out of bhubaneswar station and you reach this Hotel Excellency. Food is a bit overpriced.

Very centrally located, 60 seconds walk from the railway station, neat and clean, cheerful and welcoming staff. Catering serving staff needs to be better trained

Room was good and service was good. Only one suggestion, electrical sockets are very limited in room, now each and every business traveler required minimum 4-5 electrical sockets. So required more electrical sockets in room.
