Very poor experience and service. The price was exorbitant for the quality of the room. No window/ balcony in the room. The mattress was uncomfortable. No basic amenities: no TV, no water kettle, no tissues, no toothbrush & toothpaste, and no handwash in the washroom.

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The service was ok. The biggest drawback was the availability of hot water for bath in the rooms. They have installed some fancy faucets and shower etc. But hot water doesn't come. 1st day they asked me to wait for upto 10 mins after opening the hot water faucet for hot water to come. Tried it but still hot water didn't come. Had to get hot water from them in a bucket to have a bath. They said they have a minor issue in the pipeline and get it fixed by the end of the day. However the second day also the same problem happened. Had to finally get hot water in a bucket to have a bath. Both days wasted a lot of time to get hot water foe bath. The second day infact i had a bus to catch to delhi at 12pm. So because of their hot water issue, missed my breakfast or else would have missed my bus. So because of this problem which until they don't address will not opt for this hotel nor recommend it to others for a stay at rishikesh.

Rooms were not hygienic and there was a constant smell in the room despite of room fresheners. Bed linens were neither clean nor replaced inspite of repeated reminders. Food charges were wrongly charged.

Stay was okay but not at hotel ganga ashok. It was at relax inn ganga. Services can be recommended to others if services are. Improved and faster. Extremely late services with multiple reminders. Next time hotel ganga ashok. But relax inn ganga best thing. Easy access to nearby points like ganges, laxman jhula, triveni ghat, etc. Hotel staff helped to arrange the cabs etc as well
