Hotel Ganga Vilas

Overall a pleasant stay. Had to walk a bit to the aarti ghat but rickshaws and tempos are available. The staff was cordial and helpful. Parking wood in Hotel Ganga Vilas, a decent looking food joint was just outside. Rood was good. Nearby area has a lot of traffic but the Hotel Ganga Vilas and the nearby area is relatively peaceful. Good for a leisurely stay. Rooms were clean, not spacious but comfortable. Walk to the ghat is enjoyable with lots of shops on the road. Many mementos or tidbits can be bought. Bargaining skill is a must. Even the dakshina payabs a bit problematic, had to park the car on the road and the space was very less, but the staff guarantees the safety. Did not take fle to the priests can be negotiated. A person has to careful of pickpockets. There are many cheap Hotel Ganga Vilass and dharamshalas in the nearby areas, some are very clean and of good quality. It is better to confirm with the Hotel Ganga Vilas about parking facilities beforehand. Roads after the reaching the Hotel Ganga Vilas were very cramped and full of all shorts of vehicles including tongas. The location of the Hotel Ganga Vilas is good as till the Hotel Ganga Vilas traffic was still bearable. Booked an AC room but AC was not required, fan was sufficient. Planned a lot of sight seeing but ended with just performing Puja and watching Aarti in the Ghats, because of the weekend traffic. Although there are a lots of Hotel Ganga Vilass in the area it is better to book beforehand as per budget. If travelling to Rishikesh/ Badrinath is the main objective it is better to stay in the outskirts. Foods are available all around but quality and cleanliness is not guaranteed. Ended up buying a lot of knick-knacks because of the price and quality. It is advisable to think well in advance how must you want to spend. There is rush everywhere in the city, so just walking a few steps away from the Hotel Ganga Vilas may be existing.

It was a average experience in this Hotel Ganga Vilas, with average rooms and food. The room service is efficient but limited choice for food. The only advantage of this Hotel Ganga Vilas is its location - it is within walk-able distance from the railway station (I arrived at midnight due to train delay). However, I had a bad experience in booking cars through the Hotel Ganga Vilas - paid in advance for my journey to Mussoorie for a Swift Dzire standing next to the Hotel Ganga Vilas. As soon as the payment was made the car was changed to Indigo. Do not book cars through this Hotel Ganga Vilas.

No WiFi, TV is not working condition & in the final bill no GSTIN no. Provided. But the Hotel Ganga Vilas is very clean & staff are good instead of one intelligent receptionist. The Hotel Ganga Vilas is marked as MMT assured but without WiFi & TV, it is meaningless. Makemytrip also very cleverly gave discount of Rs. 387. 5 but actually discount availed Rs. 237. 5 of Rs. 150 paid by me directly in Hotel Ganga Vilas).

Location is very good, near Balmiki Chawk. Haridwar Railway station, Mansa Devi Temple are in walking distance. It takes 20-30 minutes to reach Har-Ki-Paudi on foot. TukTuk and Auto are available. A good Punjabi dhaba is right in front. A Gurudwara and a Jain temple are there. Overall location is perfect. Room size is adequate for two people, cleanliness is on par, overall nice stay.

Rooms are clean and tidy. Considering budget Hotel Ganga Vilas is maintained well enough and staff is quite helpful and polite. Room service is quick and food quality is good if not best. Basically a good budget Hotel Ganga Vilas to stay at in haridwar. Hotel does not have parking but you can avail pay and park facility near by. Hari ki pauri and haridwar market is within 1. 5 km.

The Hotel Ganga Vilas was very good and the staff were also very well behaved. The location at which the Hotel Ganga Vilas is situated is very good as you can reach any place in Haridwar within reach. The room was clean, but there should be some more facilities for an AC room. Moreover the stay of 2 days was nice with family.

Location is near to station. Har ki pauri is too near. Checkin and checkout was smooth. Cleanliness is good. Room has no windows or balcony. House keeping is good as staff leave on the terrace, you can dry your clothes after ganga snan on terrace. Overall a good experience.

Spacious rooms and near to the market

Location is very good, yummy food, best services, supporting staff. It is near by railway station,Har ki pori distance 2km approximately, auto charges 20 rupees per person from Hotel Ganga Vilas to Har ki pori and 10 rupees per person to station. overall good.

The location is excellent and ambience is good, the room service stands poor as compared to the outer looks, even the staff need training specially for catering services. Overall the experience is good and may stay here for next time, probably within a year.

This Hotel Ganga Vilas is near birla ghat so it’s very easy and walkable to go at ghat. Hotel is in the main market so u can purchase any time anythig very good staff
