Hotel Gnanam

This Hotel Gnanam is located within walking distance of the Brihadeeshwara Temple and the Marata Palace compound - the two major tourist sites in Thanjavur. The restaurant is very good and we ate three meals there. Our room was at the front and was slightly noisy from the street noise. The from and bathroom were clean and comfortable. There was adequate parking for cars.

Centrally located. Big temple is very close. Rooms are clean, large and fitted with latest fittings. Food at their own restaurant was very tasty. Their complimentary breakfast was superb with very courteous and friendly service by Ms. Sophie. Recommended Hotel.

Gnanam is centrally located near the old bus stand. Rooms are clean and spacious for two. The service is fairly good and responsive. The breakfast buffet is good - mostly South Indian fare done well. Overall, if I am around Tanjore, this is my go to place.

While booking, we thought we would get a room with a bathtub, but we actually got a walk-in shower. The room was decent and the service was awesome. I would say the breakfast was excellent. Altogether, it was pleasant to stay.

Hotel gnanam's location is good, within walking distance of the brihadeeshwara temple and the maratha royal palace. The restaurant downstairs was good and we had multiple meals there. Our room was neat and clean.

Very goog stay its worh the money, good sevice, good food and the staffs are friendly overall it was a nice experience.

I stayed in a mini suite. Room was pretty spacious and clean. Service was pretty good. We had a get to gether there in the evening and the staff organised it very well.

Location is a plus very close to the Periyar Kovil. Food and stay was also fine. Breakfast is a good spread. Def a recommendation
