Hotel Grand Sunset

Chail is located on a higher altitude than Shimla thus it's obvious that the sights and serenity of this place is beyond imagination. The Hotel is built on a very exclusive place which is right at the starting of Chail, very close to market Road and yet in a corner where every balcony and every room gives the view of deep Valley beneath, snow peaked Himalayas (yes you can See Himalayas from here) and lush green forest. The difference in the air can be felt on all 5 senses very easily. The terrace of the Hotel provides scrumptious food all 3 times. Our kids had a great time basking in the Sun and playing cricket and carrom. They have any activities for visitors like table tennis and indoor games etc. We made complete use of those. The food was very hygienic and homely. They even took the variations that I wanted for my younger child very graciously. The staff was actually very helpful that ways. The place is very serene and quiet, in the middle of mountains covered with dense forest. My husband enjoyed his morning walk in the mountains. I would highly recommend this Hotel to families, couples and Solo travelers alike.

Hotel grand sunset fulfilled all queries on safety along with a competitive price. Hotel manager mr. Roopa sing was very cooperative and he along with his stuff took a good care of us.

We visited Chail with family, and our 3-years old, and stayed at Grand Sunset view, and we must say that it was an excellent choice. Very easy to locate as it is on the main Road just before Chail Town. The views from the Hotel Grand Sunset are wonderful, and as the name suggests, the evening views of sunset are just mesmerizing. The food was very delicious and the service was superb. Rooms were neat and spacious. Their balcony and terrace are very spacious and our son enjoyed a lot playing in those areas. We are really very happy that we stayed at this place, and will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Chail.

The room was very nice where the sunset view was visible and the natural beauty was before eyes all the times. The location of the Hotel Grand Sunset is very nice and staff is very courtious and cooperative. The food was very tasty. The manager of the Hotel Grand Sunset is nice person. I booked Deluxe room, but due to my age and knee problem he allotted me room on ground floor in the higher category without any extra charge. The market is nearby. Full value of money. I love and recommend the Hotel Grand Sunset to all travellers.

The property which sells so well is principally because of the wonderful location! the room insulation is not good and common balcony areas which many people come and use till midnight and disturb the rest of the residents is not good, the management should not allow the common areas closer to the room to be disturbed at night by other guests partying there! the indian dishes are satisfactory but not a place to try chicken drumsticks or chinese. Stick to indian and veg there! good behaviour and welcoming staff though!

While checking in the temperature was taken followed by usual formalities. The common areas seemed clean overall. The sheets, cutlery, towels were new in the room. Was sprayed with disinfectants beforehand. Trust-able service. Food was served in the room and was really good. Staff is very polite and courteous, especially roopa singh ji (manager) and dinesh (room service. Recommended for all groups, couples and families too. Nice serene location with amazing sunset view rooms.

We stayed here for two days and the stay was pleasant, the room service was excellent, the room was clean and proper ventilated, only turnoff was the bathroom where the water was not draining properly and water log used to happen while bath, else everything was so good about the place comparison with the price they offer.
The best thing about the grand subset Hotel Grand Sunset was the room service, the staff was friendly and offered best service.

We had a very good stay at Hotel Grand Sunset grand sunset, the view was beautiful, the restrooms were clean. The food served was freshly made and very delicious. Rooms were cozy and the property was secure. One thing that could be improved was the cleanliness in the room, the tables to be wiped, some room freshners, the room should be cleaned thoroughly with broom and mop. Overall i had a good stay. Thank you.

I came to this place for the first time and it was a pleasure staying in this Hotel Grand Sunset. The hospitality of the Hotel Grand Sunset staff and not to forget the chicken curry was fabulous. Visitors who visits Chail should definitely should stay here to enjoy.

It was a comfortable family experience at the Grand Sunset Hotel. The Hotel is located at a beautiful point. Kali Ka Tibba, the Chail palace and the highest cricket ground are located with in a perimeter of 5 km's. It had carom board for the kids to play. The food was also good.

The stay in grand sunset was very good, room, room service, food, location everything was excellent. Manager was very humble and friendly. The only problem faced was that i requested for no smoking zone but got room in smoking zone. Rest was good.
