Hotel Greens Gate (Near Central station)

Paid around ₹2,000 for one night and honestly, this place isn’t worth half of that. The room looks okay at first glance, but the moment you settle in, everything starts to feel off. There’s one double bed and one single bed — but the single bed is literally tilted to one side. You feel like you’ll roll off in your sleep. Hardly any charging ports, and the electric switches are a total mess. Some don’t even work, others control who-knows-what. For a hotel charging this much, basic functionality should not be a problem. I had agreed to a smoking area, but the second you open the door, you’re hit with a strong, disgusting smoke smell that fills the room instantly. It’s unbearable and makes the whole place feel dirty. Overall — completely mid, overpriced, and not maintained properly. There are definitely better options in the same range. Wouldn’t recommend unless you have no other choice.

stay in hotel greens gate was unforgettable.the hotel staff was very cooperative & south indian food was also very delicious. rooms are also very clean overall stay was perfect

it's really good hotel , queen room is bit small but very well furnished, staffs are very disciplined and well behaved . I liked this place , I got a nice last minute deal in 1000 bucks . so overall 5 star from my side .

Its pathetic. My staff has paid additional 500 to get some better room but everything was worst. Rooms were stinking, washrooms unhygienic, breakfast super cold, staff non-cooperative. Never recommend to anyone.

location is near to chennai central rly. station. rooms are not spacious and cleanness is also average.

The images are all fabricated, the hotel quailty is much lower and does not even have ventilation in rooms. Bathrooms are not well maintained, room service is just pathetic, they do not even care.. Shows 3Star and hence i booked, it cannot be termed to a basic level lodge.

Location is near to Chennai Central Railway Station. Property is a bit old. Room and bath room is very small. Food served for breakfast was good.

The room was available for early check in and ready to be used but i don’t know why but receptionist felt something off from me i guess because i was from delhi and i was traveling in tamil nadu he made me knowingly 45 mins wait for check in

No Toiletries , Washing , interior were poor , tap had rust and marks all over . Room cleaning services we have to call every time to get it done . Below average stay for a Room of 3000 range.

The hotel is conveniently located just about 300 meters from the central railway station. Rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. However, the tap water is salty, and breakfast options are very limited (only two items, with no eggs). Hygiene could be maintained a little better.

Room was good ... Facilities inside room was awesome.. Breakfast would have been even more good if idli was there.. Rest everything fine
