Hotel Gulsitara - Kunzer, Gulmarg

As the name suggests, this place is like a home and you will be a guest here. If you are not looking for a typical Hotel Gulsitara - Kunzer, Gulmarg, you should definitely stay here. You will receive the warmth of a beautify family and they will make sure you have a pleasant stay in kashmir. The host- dr. Res-hi is one of the finest person i have met and he will treat you like a friend and do everything to make your stay comfortable. He made sure, i was traveling safe and provided with all the necessary information required to have a good time. This is really helpful if you are visiting kashmiri for the first time. I had also requested for a kashmiri wazan dinner and it was amazing. What this place lacks in amenities of a Hotel Gulsitara - Kunzer, Gulmarg is made up by the warm hospitality of the hosts. The host will also arrange for activities and travel if required.

Firstly, the location is in the middle of apple garden on the way to gulmarg gondola point. Apple orchard adds to the beauty of guest house, where rooms have clean linen, nice ambience and neat and clean washrooms. Lots of variety in the food with afghan i and tandoori chicken varieties. Dal and sabzi is very tasty and is recommended. Breakfast in open apple garden adds to the beauty and hunger. A loo pratha served was very tasty. The smile on the faces of staff is so lovely that you end up with making friendship with the property. We will be visiting soon in snow time. The stay was very cozy. The Hotel Gulsitara - Kunzer, Gulmargs at gulmarg were extremely costly and this is the next best place to stay if you want to stay close to gulmarg as it takes around 45 mins from here to reach gulmarg. The service was one of the best we ever had and when you are staying here you should definitely try their food (dinner as well as breakfast. The staffs here made us feel like home and provided guidance on rest of our kashmir trip. There are many luxury Hotel Gulsitara - Kunzer, Gulmargs in kashmir but very few can make you feel at home and this is one of them. I am definitely going to stay here when i visit gulmarg again.

Location was well guided by imtiaz bhai. Dr imtiaz n his mom were amazing at everything. They took care of all what we needed n guided us in best way to enjoy the travel n stay. Room bed bathroom were nice and clean. Fridge n gas stove for tea help us alot. They have massive geyser. This will help travellers more as these are some important context u would want. All kitchen items they provide if u r chef. They make well organised home food at reasonable rate. Fantabulous stay. Thank you imtiaz bhai for such great hospitality!

It has been an amazing experience to stay in this family guest house. It was a honeymoon trip and, me and my husband were very curious about the stay with this location. Really all kashmir is so beautiful and the local are much nicer than what we expect. Regarding the stay, staff was caring, lovely and always smiling. Asking everytime, " kuch chahiye mam" and the manager zubeda is a darling bacha. Arman, ya-sin, and raju made our stay pleasent. Will come again and will stay again here.

Was totally happy with the safety precautions taken at the guest home. Loved the hospitality of dr. Re-shy and his family. The food, care, support, facilities were just awesome! the biggest surprise was when i stepped out in the morning, there was so much snow around that it felt like wonderland. The wadhwan dinner, bonfire, services, care, love and attention were simply amazing. Highly recommend this place! looking forward to visiting it again soon!

This place is a little haven. It’s a little inside from the main road but not an inconvenience. The people are so so so nice and they’ll help in a heart beat in absolutely anything you ask for. It’s peaceful and surrounded by birds and apple trees. The rooms are exactly how you see them- cozy, comfortable and have all the required amenities. Definitely choose this place if you want to spend a quite night before the bustle of gulmarg.

Firstly the staff is so nice that you build a relationship with them. They celebrated our birthday fo a surprise in the morning. Cake was arranged. All the stuff was arranged on a surprise. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and location is just 30 to 40 minutes away from gondola ride. You can view apple trees through the windows. Clean and cool fresh air. And above heating in winter made our stay very cozy. Highly recommend.

We were 8 adults and 3 children. Felt like home. All the food served was tasty. butter chicken, dal, tandoori and fried chicken was very tasty. Will visit again

Best place to stay in Srinagar, all the guest house staff is like family, they treat you as a family, everything is good, location, food, service, I recommend this place for all.

V had nice stay, enjoyed home made tasty n hygienic food. Hospitality was really good.
Safety wise no doubt it's good. They provide hot water for drinking regularly whenever it's required. V felt like v stayed at home

The guest house is beautiful and at tangmarg about 10-15 km from the gondola starting point. They were really hospitable and we really felt like home. There is greenery outside and they have apple garden in vicinity. Liked their food and beverages. Hassle free check in but do carry your ids

The staff was really helpful and courteous. The rooms were neatly maintained. We had to leave in early morning for gulmarg and they prepared good breakfast early.

I stayed at this Hotel Gulsitara - Kunzer, Gulmarg for one night and my experience was good. This Hotel Gulsitara - Kunzer, Gulmarg is situated in kunzer which is around 20 km away from the main gulmarg market. You can get a sharing cab from kunzer to tanmarg and from tanmarg to gulmarg which will cost you 20 and 50 rupees respectively.

The property has lots of amenities & its rooms are perfect for a family of three. Every room has a small kitchenette with cooking gas, stove, basic wares, a refrigerator and most importantly a huge storage heater to freshen up peacefully. The bed is huge and room has adequate switch sockets to charge your devices. I am staying here for sure if i can come back at gulmarg to learn skiing. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Staff was good and helpful, overall its good. Food is also good. Rooms are neat and clean. Far from city good for those who likes peace. I will recommend this Hotel Gulsitara - Kunzer, Gulmarg.
