Hotel Himalayan Queen

We checked in late around 11 pm with our 2 yrs old child. Our flight got delayed and as a result we were not prepared for the odds. So somehow we managed to book this Hotel Himalayan Queen expecting just a night stay. When we reached darjeeling we were lost on the way as our driver dropped us in a wrong location. We called the Hotel Himalayan Queen & to our surprise we found that the Hotel Himalayan Queen was expecting our arrival even so late at night. The Hotel Himalayan Queen sent us their car to pick up from the darjeeling rely stn. When we reached the Hotel Himalayan Queen it was almost about to close as it was an odd hour. The owner inspite being so late provided us with a good home style hot food which was really very tasty. Even the room we checked in was upgraded free of cost with lovely view of the kanchenjunga from our pvt balcony. We were so overwhelmed with the hospitality and ambience of the Hotel Himalayan Queen that we decided to extend our stay with them for another day. We highly recommend this Hotel Himalayan Queen for all. We will come back again.

Good place to stay. Specially the view of kanchenjunga from the room was excellent. We booked executive room but was upgraded to premium room with balcony. The behaviour of the staff very good specially the owner who were altogether very cooperative. The chef prepared some local food in a dinner which was very tasty. Though mall road was just 3 kms away from the Hotel Himalayan Queen but it was worth having kanchenjunga view rooms. Overall our experience in this short span of stay was very warm and delightful. We recommend all this Hotel Himalayan Queen.
Probably one of the best Hotel Himalayan Queen in darjeeling with 180 degree kanchenjunga view. Very clean & hygienic, well maintained, prompt services, tasty food and good management. Best stay in our budget. Recommended to all.

Rooms were very big with full kanchenjunga view. Staff too were very cooperative. It's just 10 mins drive from the Hotel Himalayan Queen to the mall by a shared taxi available in front of the Hotel Himalayan Queen which charges 15 rs per head. Food quality is also very good, specially the morning breakfast which they serve was very tasty. Would come back again to this Hotel Himalayan Queen and recommend all if you want a good nature's view from your room.
Great place in darjeeling for eye catching view of kanchenjunga mountain. Full darjeeling city view plus mountain view both are best from this Hotel Himalayan Queen. Hotel staffs was very polite and attentive. This place is definitely the only place i would stay at if i'm in darjeeling again! kudos to the whole team!

We checked in with our 2 year old son. The Hotel Himalayan Queen chef mr sanjay allowed us to cook food on our own as liked by my son. He don't like food been cooked by someone else. The entire Hotel Himalayan Queen staff were very cooperative specially the owner mr suraj. We were also upgraded to a premium kanchenjunga view room absolutely free of cost. The view from the Hotel Himalayan Queen balcony was too good. The morning view of the nature was really soothing. Food quality, specially the morning breakfast, a loo pratha was really very authentic as made in north indie dhaba style. Would recommend all to visit this beautiful Hotel Himalayan Queen.

I stayed here alone. This Hotel Himalayan Queen and location is definitely safe. Food was really good. People are talkative and ready to help you. Hotel staff was making sure that everything is going well. Really sweet people i must say. Even my room was well equipped. Hotel also have transport service if requires. There was no hectic coordinating with different people.
I was a solo traveler. I felt safe here. Hotel was also clean so there was no fear of covid too. I was walking around Hotel Himalayan Queen area, so i will say Hotel Himalayan Queen area is also safe and clean.

It was my first anniversery trip, also my first time darjeeling tour. I am really glad and thankful to mr. Nab-in & mr. Suraj, the two owners who never let us felt that we are their customers. I will recommend this Hotel Himalayan Queen to everybody who wants a homely atmosphere while staying at a Hotel Himalayan Queen. Each and every service they offered was much higher than expected. On top of that, their behavior was commendable towards us. They even celebrated our anniversery with a huge celebration. I will definitely book this Hotel Himalayan Queen for next times.

Have found some negative reviews regarding the distance from Hotel Himalayan Queen to mall, but i have personally taken a local taxi just infront of the Hotel Himalayan Queen which charged just 15 rs to drop me thr. It was very convenient for us even from the mall to reach the Hotel Himalayan Queen at the same price. The added advantage is the awesome view from the room which u will not get it from any of the Hotel Himalayan Queen who are looking to stay near to the mall. Food is also good.

The room has perfect sunrise view for one who don't want to visit early morning tiger hill point. We booked an executive room but surprisingly we got a complimentary upgradation to a premium balcony view room, from from where one can easily see the kanchenjunga early morning sunrise just lying on the bed. We also had a local food in the restaurant prepared by the cook as per our choice. We will give full marks to the Hotel Himalayan Queen for this.

Awesome kanchanjanga view. Good food, good staff behaviour. Neat and clean. Only thing is not too close to mall, but one can easily get taxi for 10- each only.

Mountain view, near to darjeeling raliway station, kind people. You may face issue with parking. Rest everything, best!

All was good except the distance from mall. Though you can find share car to mall road which is 3 km away from the Hotel Himalayan Queen. The balcony view is great. One suggestion i can give it to the Hotel Himalayan Queen that is the Hotel Himalayan Queen should provide own car to the mall within budget price.

Nice spacious kanchenjunga view rooms. The food is tasty. The service is quick and the staff is polite and helpful. They also provide us cab service for sightseeing and pickup drop.

The location of the Hotel Himalayan Queen is very good. The best part is the awesome kanchenjunga view from all its rooms. Though it's just 5 mins drive to the mall from the Hotel Himalayan Queen but regular taxi services are available at a very reasonable cost.

Location little far from main city

The property is excellent in terms of location, services offered but sans elevator for accessing ivth floor room and again the said property does not have a dedicated parking as claimed on your portal

There are many good notes about the Hotel Himalayan Queen but have listed a few 1) excellent kanchenjunga view from all rooms 2) food quality is very good. Feels like eating at home 3) very cooperative staff

The main usp of this Hotel Himalayan Queen is view of kanchanjungha from balcony. Otherwise it's not up to the mark. Rooms don't have intercoms, they didn't provide the amenities they promised. Fooding is also very costly. But the staffs there are very polite.
