Hotel Himalayan Retreat

The Hotel Himalayan Retreat was awesome. The location of Hotel Himalayan Retreat was very close to mall road. As soon as we entered the Hotel Himalayan Retreat, we felt the warmth and comfort. Their hospitality was top notch. We felt really very welcomed as soon as we entered in the Hotel Himalayan Retreat. Their manager was very polite and understanding. The support person named *halim* made us feel like we were entering our own home. He greeted us with full warmth and provided us all the requirements very quickly. He was so helpful and the delight on his face made our stay a memorable one. We hardly get such support staff. As i am a frequent flyer and i stayed in many Hotel Himalayan Retreats, but this is one of the best for sure. The food was also awesome. I recommend this Hotel Himalayan Retreat to everyone who is traveling to darjeeling to have a pleasant stay. The view from the room was also awesome. Basically this Hotel Himalayan Retreat has all the amenities that a guest can expect from. I don't know why this Hotel Himalayan Retreat is a 3 star Hotel Himalayan Retreat only, it deserves 4 star Hotel Himalayan Retreat tag.

We stayed in the deluxe attic room with the best view! what a breathtaking beauty from the queen of the hills! situated quite near mall road. Easy to locate. Amazing hospitality by the staff! they were extremely friendly and helped us navigate to go around the city. The amenities of the room were great as well. Nicely sanitized and clean rooms. 10/10. They even provide complementary sanitary pads in the wc for guests which is a nice touch i might add. Definitely would visit again and recommend it to a friend. Overall a hospitable one indeed! 5 stars!

Our room number was 219. The room was comfortable, with a nice view. Although the weather was not that good it was all foggy throughout. The food was also tasty, although the options were very limited. We had a complementary breakfast, it had a variety of spreads like bread toast, water melon, puri sabji, egg, pasta, tea coffee. The menu changes daily. The housekeeping staff are limited, so we had to wait for a long time. The Hotel Himalayan Retreat is near the mall, at a walking distance but the walk is very steep. Overall the stay was nice.

We stayed for 3 nights at the himalayan retreat. The stay was pleasant. Following are the good things about the Hotel Himalayan Retreat: 1. Location - it's very near to the mall. 5mins walking 2. Service - room service, room clean service everything is prompt & everyone is very polite 3. Food - the quality, portion & taste of food are excellent a special mention to mr. Halim. He is extremely polite & goes beyond his call of duty to accommodate the needs of guests.

A must visit Hotel Himalayan Retreat. Superb rooms. Nice staffs. Aminities are good. Location is the main attractive. U can select this Hotel Himalayan Retreat with a shut eye. We visited darjeeling in an off season, without any additional charge they upgraded our bookings to a suit room. However they took 400 rs for car parking. This is not a big issue every Hotel Himalayan Retreat taking the same amount for car parking as darjeeling is a con-gusted city

The Hotel Himalayan Retreat is very well maintained and the food is also good, staff is friendly, the only point is the Hotel Himalayan Retreat is 10 mins away from mall road and because of steep road to mall road, it becomes very difficult for a senior citizen to walk towards mall road from Hotel Himalayan Retreat. Also there is no lift in the Hotel Himalayan Retreat, so please think before booking if u are travel-ling with a senior citizen

I found this Hotel Himalayan Retreat in make my trip while planning to stay at darjeeling. The Hotel Himalayan Retreat is amazing, all the staffs were very helpful, the rooms were too good with all the amenities like 24 hrs geizer, electric kettle for heating water, comfortable beds and the food was also awesome location is beside bhanu bhawan, darjeeling mall is just 5-7 minutes walking distance all over my family and i enjoyed our stay

It was an wonderful stay at this Hotel Himalayan Retreat for 2 nights. No complains. From staffs to manager everyone is very supportive, welcoming, polite and helpful. Trip went pretty smooth for us as our stay was comfortable bcz the rooms were pretty clean & cozy. Food was truly good. The room charges were affordable too. Will recommend everyone to check this place if someone is looking for a memorable & affordable experience.

The property was amazing for stay with all amenities available. The room service was excellent. Especially, md halim was excellent at work. You need anything just look for the man, halim.

Rooms are neat and clean. Staff is so supportive. Walking distance from mall road. Had a wonderful transport service. Overall comfortable stay.

Everything is so freaking great out here at the himalayan retreat especially haleem made out stay more cozy it felt like home

It was a pleasant stay. The staff members are very helpful, polite and supportive. They have nice rooms with all the required amenities. Just one area of improvement is the food that they serve. Please try to improve the quality and taste of the food.

Located near darjeeling mall. Hotel rooms are also good, room service is also satisfying. Qw have tried dinner and the taste of the food is satisfying.

Location of the Hotel Himalayan Retreat was ok, room service & breakfast should be improved, as very little food option. Rooms were good & spacious specially suite rooms. Toilets or washrooms although good size needs improvement. Although a smallelevator was present but inoperative & we had to climb stairs till 3rd floor.

Every thing about this Hotel Himalayan Retreat is great: food, room delivery, wifi, other amneties except the location is little down from mall road level so it was little hectic for us to climb up with luggage during our return.
