Hotel Indriya Wayanad

Pros. Hotel at City centre. We like the location , primium room and best was hospitality. As vegitarian we got Udupi pure veg just next to the Hotel Indriya Wayanad which was biggest plus. BF was avarage with mostly veg option but that too limited only for us it was dosa/appam (nice), chole Puri (worst), bread butter jam, one fruit and juice ,tea coffee. room was big in size and was clean. Cons. Room doesn't have balcony not any view. no fans in a/c room, as it is city centre not having nature or hills around, more hotter . swimming pool is not worth ,after seeing it we didn't want to step in . snooker table was just to show was always closed during our stay. Overall nice stay. if you are looking for city centre budget property good to go

The location is at the heart of kalpetta town. And if you wanted to always come back to the busy streets after a day out in the nature then its a good place to drive in and stay. If not, better look for a serene, calm and nature friendly place. The food is good, but costly. I will tell the pros first: staff behaviour is cordial room is spacious for a couple and a kid they keep the place sanitized and hygiene is maintained to some extent although i didnt see social distancing is not maintained all the time. Cons: we asked the room to be cleaned while we were out for sight seeing. But it was not done need to call reception multiple times to restore tea/coffee items no swimming towels were provided.

Was nice all other than the hospitality I faced at reception desk. Need to be much more professional and friendly, at least learn how to smile attractively. Also need some maintenance work at the pool area. All other facilities, room, food and stay was excellent.
Staff should be friendly and the receptionist cant know how to smile at all, I think. Feels that I came there seeking her favor, that was too bad. All other thing were very nice. Also need some maintenance at pool area, feels deserted now.

The Hotel Indriya Wayanad's neighborhood has many restaurants, shops, bus stand, etc, so location is 5/5. The morning breakfast was decent with both south and north indian food options 4/5. The Hotel Indriya Wayanad staff is very helpful - they guided us on places to visit in wayanad and let us wait in lobby for a few hours before our return trip. Things which could have been better - the swimming pool was not well maintained, also the in-house restaurant was bit pricey

We were expecting good authenic kerala food and ordered purely keralite dishes but none was worth remembering. The taste was very average, chicken chittinad taste like any north indian dish, chicken kolapuri was like kadai chicken, zerra rice have less rice and more zerra which makes it awful. The parathas were somewhat better but i have tasted better malabar paratha and kerala food so i could relate the taste very well

I loved this place. Very professional and helpful people around. Suite rooms are very good. Location is very and we had good access to every sight seeing. Food is also very good, if you are from north you will have adjust with south indian food like sambar idly dos a. Etc bread butter jam is there. Any ways alakarte is there to order anything. Blindly come and stay, they follow the covid protocols very strictly

Hotel staffs were very helping in nature. I'm not familiar with wayanad and while just enquiring with them about the places, in a span of 5 minutes they arranged for sightseeing with local driver for the next two days. Room was very clean and for 2nd day also they changed all the bed spread, pillows and towels. Excellent service and memorable stay. Apart from the above mentioned nothing to add.

Hotel room was quite spacious and great ambience. Good location and has access to shopping and transport. Breakfast was decent not fancy very basic and can be better. Amenities like snooker is chargeable even for guests which was surprising however it was a good experience. Staff was very good very welcoming and polite overall stay was comfortable and you can give it a try when in kalpetta

I stayed for 1 day. The room was pretty good and the staffs were very helpful. Although you have all the amenities but I feel it is overpriced because of the location advantage. It is just 2-3 mins walk from the Kalpetta New bus stand. The breakfast buffet was really awesome and they offer a variety of american breakfast and south Indian breakfast as well. The quality of food was awesome.

Hotel was clean, rooms were clean, convenient location but the breakfast spread was very limited which was a minus point.

Indirya is a great place to have a stay in wayanad. It's in the heart of the city within the market area and many local shops to explore nearby. Hotel offers a restaurant as well which has a ok breakfast. Hotel staff is also excellent. Improvement could be done on the restaurant staff and food. Overall it's a recommended Hotel Indriya Wayanad if you love city market
