Hotel kalinga as-hoke bhubaneswar review of stay 27th to 29th dc '23 reached the Hotel Kalinga Ashok very late (post midnight) on 27. 12. 23. Hotel was kind enough to offer us some roti, dal etc even at 1 am. Rooms were good and clean though had only one towel for a couple and one bottle of water. We had to ask to get one more, in the morning. On 28th room was not cleaned. Only after we came back from puri at 8 pm we got the housekeeping to make up our room. On the food it was good and pocket friendly. Better to stock to indian dishes. Continental fare was a bit undercooked. Breakfast spread was adequate but not lavish. Overall our experience was good and nothing to complain about.

Clean and comfortable with courteous service. Excellent location with easy access to bhubaneswar railway station and airport. All the rooms and toilets have been thoroughly refurbished. Ample parking space available for those on a self drive. The huge lawn is a boon for morning walkers. Simple, wholesome cuisine. The kitchen will try their best and customise any particular dish that you may have in mind. To sum up, kalinga ashok may not have the glitz and glamour of "new age" Hotel Kalinga Ashoks but is a clean and safe establishment which you can opt for.

We stayed in this Hotel Kalinga Ashok overnight and couldn't utilise any of its services. So, our review is limited to quality of accommodation only. For its price, the room was quite spacious, with two big windows, though the view was not remarkable. The room and the bathroom was clean, the linen fresh. However, the towels appeared to be old and discolored. The toiletries provided was simple but adequate. The staff at reception was courteous and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed staying overnight in the Hotel Kalinga Ashok and plan to be there again

Hotel is an old property. Their are maintaince issues. Very cooperative Hotel Kalinga Ashok staff. The location is at very convenient location u can get shared autos to different parts of the city. Airport, railway station, state museum, lingraj temple, market building, ac busses to puri across the road in front of state museum at 100 rs. Also ac busses to cuttack at 40 rs per passenger. Value for money. Hotel has big garden and a big parking facility available. Breakfast has limited options.

A great place, clean and spacious rooms, friendly and unobtrusive staff, great location, lots of space and greenery, decent food at reasonable prices. What's not to enjoy one's stay? they were considerate enough to upgrade my room to a better one and meet all requests promptly. All in all a great, relaxing and enjoyable stay!

The property is located in one of the prime location. Airport is approx 2 km and railway station is within 1 km. It is on the puri road, so travel-ling to puri is less time consuming. The Hotel Kalinga Ashok maintains high hygiene standards. Food is awesome. Staffs are cordial and helping. Enjoyed the stay.

It's an itdc property centrally located within the city. The fitting fixtures were quite old fashioned though the rooms were spacious enough. The food is top class and the staff are courteous. The promptness in service delivery also a great solace to the sojourners. In short it was an wonderful altogether.

Deluxe room was spacious enough. Room needs renovation. Common spaces like corridors, lobby need make over. Staffs are polite and helpful. Management allowed 2 hr late check out without any hassle. Complimentary breakfast was just above average. Restaurant space is very limited. Overall stay was decent.

Had a couple of hours to kill in bhubaneswar so booked a day stay at kalinga. Old property, doesn't seem to have upgraded. However suited our purpose. Service is a little slow. The staff is extremely helpful
