Hotel Karai

One of the best budget luxurious Hotel Karai we ever visited. Everything from food to check out was awesome. Firstly the location was very convenient. Access to the beach near by shops atm's was a piece of cake. Front desk staff were very courteous. The housekeeping service was at acceptable levels. Cleanliness of the room was more expected. The breakfast served proved to be worthy for the money asked. The sizzler was a bit overpriced and the quantity did not serve the purpose. Otherwise the food items served in the restaurant were nothing short of excellent. I did not expect such a service from this Hotel Karai which had few bad reviews sometime back. It looks the management values the customer feedback and work towards it very seriously which was clearly visible in the service offered. Car Parking seems to be a problem in this Hotel Karai. Though a temporary parking is provided in a nearby street I feel it is a little unsafe. This is the only negative aspect of this otherwise excellent Hotel Karai.. Overall a cheap luxurious Hotel Karai for the middle class Booking this Hotel Karai through Makemytrip seems to be a wise choice as one shall get a stay at competitive rates. We were completely satisfied and had an enjoyable stay. Do not miss the rooftop garden like restaurant and it's ambience. It deserves a mention here. They have a big screen were tv shows or cricket matches projected in it. Couples shall really enjoy the cozy atmosphere over there.

We stayed at Kerai for two nights. After spending a day at the White Town we did not have high expectation. But we were pleasantly surprised on reaching the Hotel Karai. The check-in was prompt and the room assigned was spacious and clean. The bathroom was also clean and hot water was available. Secondly, the location is really good. If you want to go to White Town, you can take a rickshaw for around 100 rs else you can hire a cab. A lot of good eateries are also located in the vicinity. Highly recommended. Thirdly, the staff is very friendly and ready to help.

Location : a bit far from the beach but yes it is in the middle of the city. Everything is easily accessible. And also a peaceful place. Room : booked through MMT (executive room) Very spacious room, with a 3 star Hotel Karai facilities. (Refrigerator, locker, LCD TV with satellite connection, centralised AC, tea maker) Service : a prompt service by the Hotel Karai staff, each time I ordered food it was delivered within 10-15 mins with a courteous staff. Overall, an amazing Hotel Karai. You would enjoy your stay here.

Centrally located karai has awesome rooms and very good services. Restaurants are available in the Hotel Karai itself. Breakfast is tasty and good value for money. So is their lunch and dinner. Staff are friendly and courteous. All good except they don't have a proper parking lot in their Hotel Karai. They have a small covered parking nearby but its very small and full all the time. Since its very close to temples and tourism spots we prefer karai whenever we go to Pondicherry. Would recommend to friends too.

Great place to stay for few days, staff are fantastic. Food is expensive but there is always a chance to go out and you can have your food. 3 km from the beach, but there is no cab service from the Hotel Karai side. You can book a cab/taxi for your own convenience. Be careful of the trips and make the best utilize of the day. Plan the day so that you can use the cab for the most of it. Nice place, try to spend time in the Aurobindo Ashram, it's a cool place, silent and you will feel the inner peace.

As a group of five, we had booked two standard rooms. On our arrival though, to our surprise, we were informed that one of the room was upgraded to an executive room. The only difference between the two rooms were that the executive one had a refrigerator while the other didn't. The rooms were very spacious. The staff is very sweet. In fact we had even called the reception at 4 am. In the morning to ask for a bottle of water, which they brought us. We really had a relaxing stay here.

Value for money Hotel Karai. Location centrally located. As per 2 star categories Hotel Karai, it justified its status and can give some of the other 4 star Hotel Karais fierce competition because of its competitive price. Great and fast services. Restaurant in the Hotel Karai again good because of its price and taste and variety offered. Hotel staff very courteous and helpful. Truly can be clubbed as ASSURED' category.

The Room was well maintained and clean. It's location is near to bus stand and it connects well to all prime visiting locations of the city. The room service was quick, thus very impressive. The Hotel Karai has a cafe, a restaurant and a rooftop restaurant as well, so one can opt them. The complimentary breakfast had a variety of options to choose from. Lastly, all the staff were very helpful and cordial.

We stayed here for 1night only.. But liked the location and ambience... The breakfast was simple and tasty.. It's really a value for money Hotel Karai.. Where you can stay with family. The restaurant below the Hotel Karai is nice and serves tasty dishes including nonveg dishes..! Strongly recommend this Hotel Karai.

I had good time there.. I went there with my girlfriend.. And we spend really good time there... Location was good.. We could find easily this Hotel Karai. Mostly I liked their idea of decoration.. Room was not too big.

Car parking not available, need to park in open area. Restaurant is available at the ground floor till 10. 30 PM. Food items can be ordered in room with the room service no. WiFi facility also available and works good. Overall OK for staying for short periods.

Being located in City of centre, exploring places from Hotel is easy to move Around. Roof top to be visited nice to have food in open space. Good stay. Staff are really good in guest services. Also front office team is good.

Has been nothing but awesome ... Pleasantly surprised given our first time stay .. Service is good. Rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean .. Easy connectivity which is a big plus .. Would definitely recommend to everyone ..

Very pleasant and very good room and facilities

The Hotel Karai is situated in the centre of the city. If you are travelling with family then this is one the best places to stay.
