Hotel Kavana near Assi Ghat

A wonderful stay with family. Swati and Zoya at reception desk are very helpful. They made sure the guests are comfortable. Food is very good and it is one of the positive points. Good for vegetarians. Room was clean and service was very good.

Nice stay. Nice food. Very accommodative staff. Specially Mr Kaushik, Ms Swati, Ms Zoya etc names may be mention worthy. Location-wise advantageous with respect to seeing the Ganga Arati Darshan. Also close to market as well as transport.

My family and I had gone for a visit to the holy city of Varanasi. We stayed here and this is a very good property. Clean rooms, good washroom with hot water. Very helpful staff. Recommend anyone to stay here.

It was an amazing stay, the staff was very cordial. The room was smelly due to no ventilation but upon raising concern it was dealt with immediately.

Didn’t provide me the bill till now. Staff is not cooperative. Food is not good. Breakfast buffet is of no use.

The hotel is located inside the street which is easily accessible but the area is not up to the mark. Basic amenities are available on demand. Plus point is the staff is helpful. There is a smell coming from the washroom. The staff readily agreed to change the room. But the smell was in that room also. Hotel staff should work on that issue. It's nearby major sightseeing and it's a peaceful area since the city is very crowded.

Food at Café Kriva is superb. Staff is courteous, and the rooms are spacious—especially the Suite Room. We requested a late check-out, and it was accommodated with minimal charges. Because of its prime location, this hotel stands out among all others. Staying near Assi Ghat is far more sensible, as connectivity to Kashi Vishwanath Temple is very easy with plenty of autos and battery-operated TOTO vehicles available.

The location was good. The buffet was not up to date . Service is a bit slow and they should work on this aspect. Overall it's a fine stay

Bad customer experience and zero customer care at the hotel. No water bottles were provided, no cleaning done, no towel change done for 3 days. Staff was untrained, didn't had any courtesy on how to attend customers. No options were given for the room booked. Rude staff. Generated and given wrong food bills. Overall very bad experience. Need refund.

The hotel is very clean and rooms are spacious with modern amenities. Proximity to Assi ghat is an added benefit.

Stay was comfortable except the food. I will say the food is not bad but no option of having home made style simple items. All prepared like restaurant style means oil, scices etc. There should be option simple thali, homemade style. When u tour for long time, u get irritated having these oily & spicy food daily.

Property is near to Assi Ghat so morning or evening Aarti is easily accessible. All basic amenities are provided in the room and hotel has its own restaurant so food is also available. Taste is not very great but average.

The location of Kavana Hotel is central in Varanasi. The Assi Ghat is walking distance and the Kashi Vishwanath temple is hardly 2 kms away. The staff was warm, courteous and helpful. The restaurant was quite good with variety of food. It was hygienic. The room was awesome with good hygiene and clean washroom. The room was spacious and airy. The staff took quite good care of us during our stay.
