Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg

Khaleel Palace can be better if the management wishes. Room-wise we did not have any problem. We liked the view from and overall appearance of the triple deluxe rooms located in the basement. But there are a few problems that I'd like to elaborate on: First was that at the time of our stay the WiFi was down all 3 days. Also there was no cable for a day as they had not paid for the next month. This, at least, is ok as we were not really interested in watching it.. Just happened to switch it on upon our daughter's insistence. Second, hygiene wise, the Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg really needs to buck up. There is this strange smell on the stairway going down to the basement rooms. It needs to absolutely go. I had to hold my breath while using the stairs. It was that bad. Third and most important. The Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg uses our used towels to wipe the bathroom/toilet floor. I was aghast when I saw and heard that. How can you be so dirty? It was a good thing that I carried my own on the trip for all 3 of us. I was absolutely disgusted to learn this fact. Locationwise, Khaleel Palace has an access problem when it snows. I was there in March and there was snow all around. We had to trudge up and down nearly half a kilometre each day each way which felt like miles! Most of the good Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmargs are located in the same vicinity and no car goes up till the Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg. All the Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmargs should get together and work on making themselves more accessible by having the snow cleared regularly. Otherwise it is better to take a Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg right next to the road. As it is, it is really difficult to walk in the snow. You fall many times if you are not careful. Specially older people. Hospitalitywise, Kashmiris are warm and welcoming. The staff is courteous and hospitable. Twice they offered us free dessert with our dinner order. That was really thoughtful and I wouldn't mind recommending this Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg in my network provided they take care of the above problems.

My room was a corner room on the first floor and had ample of sunshine whole day. The Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg was very beautiful and very clean. The Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg was very well located and very near gondola point. As we went in the winters so there weren't any local markets etc. The view from the Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg was very nice. I could see the entire gondola ropeway and all the snow mountains from the window of my room. The Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg and restaurant facility. Room was very clean and the bed sheets and pillow covers appeared like new every day. The room had excellent the heating systems like massive heater and hot air blower which was functional all the time. The room had hot water kettle and complimentary tea bags. Even there was a heated blanket. They provided warm drinking water at all times. The staff was very good and courteous. The Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg had restaurant which provided tasty hot and fresh food. We had comfortable sleep in the night. Although outside temperature was -16 but inside was so warm that we actually had to switch off heating system. Although we went in off season but the Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg was completely booked, so I will advise that you should book your room in advance. The Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg was safe and would recommend.

I was initially skeptical after reading all the reviews on different websites but booked Khaleel anyway given the great deal I was able to find on MMT. I was highly, positively surprised on reaching the Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg, as it is very near to Gondola and the rooms are very nice and cosy. Few of my friends stayed at Hilltop as well and though that is slightly better in terms of rooms, Khaleel offered much better value for money given the stark difference in the rates between the two Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmargs. Also, the food at this Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg is one of the better options in Gulmarg.

I stayed in Khaleel palace on 25th March 2016. It's very well located. Staff was helpful. During our stay room phone and WiFi was not working. Electricity was erratic. It made our stay very problematic. There was snow fall and one side of roof started leaking. Although staff was prompt in listening to solving problem. Dish TV subscription of many important channels was missing. When I asked reception guy he pleaded helplessness. Food and room service were average. I think most of the issues can be easily sorted by management.

Positive observations:- Good property, Hygienic and tasty food but little expensive. Rooms are small but good for short family. Room service is superbb and the room service staff is helpful, decent, honest. Hot and cold water always available. Negative observations:- Washrooms needs renovation and repairings and also cleaniness is not up to the mark. No one cares about your check-in or checkout you have to take your luggages with your ownself. Rooms are con jested.

We went to Gulmarg for a couple of days and we really enjoyed our stay at Khaleel Palace. The Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg is around 1. 5 km from the main market and it's easily reachable by a 20 minutes walk or either by slide or taxi. It's very close to the Gondola ride and in a quite part of the town. The rooms are cosy and warm and we had a wonderful view of the woods. The food is good and the staff super helpful.

I had visited this Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg for relaxation purpose. I don't have any suggestion for this Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg. The garden was not available at the Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg. The service was nice. The staff behaviour was polite. I had booked this room by travel agent. The activity was not arranged by the Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg. The outside view was excellent from the room.

Amazing place, it was our first trip after marriage and was wonderful wanna go again .. Enjoyed cable car, site view .. I think, by luck we got best room with two Windows in East and south side through which we enjoyed beauty of place we can see snow fall sitting in room and sipping tea .. We walked around area everything were covered with snowfall .. Amazing feeling cannot describe in words ...

I would definitely recommend this Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg, whether it is cleanliness, Service or food, Staff, location, one of the best in this location. I would again plan to be here with Family. Good Heating systems, amazing ambience, wonderful views altogether there is nothing which I can complain on.

Excellent Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg. We both had a nice stay at Khaleel Palace. Nice approach. Staff is very cooperative. Food is excellent. Room service is also appreciable. We recommend this Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg for happy holiday at Gulmarg in Kashmir. We would like to stay again here in next visit.

Amazing ambiance. Khaleel Palace is a treat for the travellers. Service is excellent. Walking distance from Gondola and you get the best view from your rooms. Food is amazing and you will love it there. Royal in every aspect, its an awesome place to stay. I would highly recommend to all.

A very Hot Temperature maintained inside. + Point walking distance from Gondola Ride, so you save Horse riding money. I recommend this Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg. Inspite of having heavy rush, the Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg treated very well.

The Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg is situated at a good location. The staff is helpful. Only issue is with the parking also there was no hot room AC only cold AC so difficult to stay in winters but the staff had arranged a room heater which was quite helpful.

Perfect stay. Well-behaved staff. Nice location. On time housekeeping. Value of money. But food preparation and presentation is very poor. Management must try better. Overall, good and safe stay.

Nicely located Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg with large rooms. Excellent service and hospitality. However dinner was only buffet and was priced quite high.

Gulmarg is truly a best place for skiing destination. The Hotel Khaleel Palace with great location. Awesome place to stay. We stayed here for 1 night. Excellent view from the room allotted. I found it an excellent Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg for family tour. Staffs are co-operative.

I was In Kashmir for 7 days, and the most beautiful part of it is Gulmarg, and staying in Khaleel Palace is as peaceful as staying at home, Overall good food, though a bit costly, one should book the room with food in all part of Kashmir, because the Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg is charging more, Khaleel Palace is best choice in Gulmarg.

Excellent food and service. Overall, a wonderful experience. Best food in Kashmir. Everything that we had in the Hotel Khaleel Palace Gulmarg was excellent. The location is also good and the staff is also very helpful. Thank you for making my trip a more wonderful experience.
