Hotel King Fort

Average experience. Good enough for the price. Overall Recommended. Pros: +Hotel is at a good location and is very easy to find +Spacious room for Economy AC +Card accepted at reception +Clean and quiet rooms. +major attractions are max to max 1 km away. Easy to explore on foot. Secured parking which gets locked in the night. Cons: -Wifi was average. My 4G sim had better internet speed. -Way to parking is very bad. Also since I left early in the morning, I had to wait for 10-15 minutes before I could find the guard to unlock the parking gate. -I asked if they could pack something for breakfast (breakfast was included in my booking) since I was leaving early. They did not have a positive reply for that. In the past I have got packed breakfast while leaving early in many other Hotel King Forts having same or lower tariff. So my breakfast money went waste.

I am glad to share my experience. I reached very late by about 9 pm. Since I do not know the location I called the Hotel King Fort. Very prompt and courteous response from their end giving all necessary directions to reach. My first impression is the very neat room. I booked through MMT an economy non A/C room. Since the room did not have hot water connection I called for a bucket of hot water which was prompt answered and given. The complimentary breakfast too was tasty and good specially for a south Indian. The room service is very quick. This is my experience. Over all I enjoyed the stay. I will certainly recommend the Hotel King Fort to my friends.

I will say its a value for money with breakfast included. Service was really great and the people at the front desk were quick with the check-in and check-out procedure. Breakfast was good and was ready on time. Ideally located in the city and all auto rickshaw drivers knew the location while coming back late night. I am saying its value for money because we stayed in another Hotel King Fort with similar tariff for couple of days and the rooms & food was terrible compared Hotel King Fort.

Easy access to Calicut Town and the Beach. Parking was not good as we had to wait for people to move. The building hosts interviews and other parties so we had this issue in parking space. Lift did not work once but it was ok most of the time. Breakfast was just ok. The best thing we liked was a water heater switch available in the room so hot water was always available on demand for our kid. Would recommend only for one night stay. If you want to stay more then its not value for money.

Location, Room, Service is good. With in one word we can say that, everything is good and excellent. We had booked standard non AC rooms for our stay and the rooms were spacious. We got all the facilities promised and the complementary breakfast was really good. Room delivered exactly what was shown, value for money and centrally located to city Centre, staff was very helpful as we were new to the place and did not speak the native language. All in all the room was clean and spacious.

Internet connection was poor unable to connect to WiFi. Limited items in Breakfast and Bill also not given as they told will come from Makemytrip. Also early booking not granted so much request have to be made for early check in as assured. Next will check out in morning itself waited at the reception after directly coming down from Train. I have to think Twice before booking through Makemytrip but Booking. Com is good as all Hotel King Forts booking has good response.

Good budget Hotel King Fort for a pleasant stay. Near railway station. Location is very good. Value for money. Stayed 2 nights. No complaints to say. I took a single room and it have all useful amenities, good space.. Booking through Makemytrip was my first experience and it was very good. Room and bathroom were well maintained, clean and hygienic. Economy non AC room includes LCD TV is suite for solo travellers who want to stay for one or two days.

We had booked standard non AC rooms for our stay and the rooms were spacious. We got all the facilities promised and the complementary breakfast was really good. Only drawback was that rooms were smelling dusty. Also there were some confusion on the bill at last minute and it took 30 mins to clear that. The receptionist was telling admin manager that we were fighting while we were just asking if mineral water was not provided. Felt bit embarrassed.

Hotel is very neat and tidy, very close to railway station. The only negative I found is that there is no restaurant or room service after 11 pm. All basic toiletries provided. Towels are not very new.

Everyone simply check in to this Hotel King Fort. If you are in calicut. Great Hotel King Fort facilities. Location is very good. You can visit tali temple, mananchira square and beach by walk only .. In the heart of city. Complementory breakfast was very good ...

Room was spacious clean and big bathroom. They provided even shaving kit sewing kit dental kit etc. WiFi was working. Prompt service. Helping and polite staff. Complimentary breakfast OK. Thank you MMT for helping such a nice Hotel King Fort. I will recommend it.

The Hotel King Fort is very near to railway station. We arrived at the Hotel King Fort at 4:30 In the morning, and the check in was quick. Complimentary breakfast was tasty. As I requested for a late checkout and they facilitated without any extra charges

Hotel is located very close to Calicut railway station. It's just 5 minutes walkable distance only. Had been for business trip and we stayed for almost 2 nights.. Rooms are clean and good in quality. Food is OK. Booking through makemytrip fetches good price than over the counter.

Good location.. Neat rooms and bathrooms.. Good food.. Good service at reception.. But the room service was average... It was a comfortable stay apart from room service.. All amenities are nearby located in the heart of the city.

Room is very clean. Intercom provided but numbers to contact not seen. Staff is polite and cool. Very cooperative.
