Hotel Kumkum

Pros : 1. Clean and recently refurbished rooms. Spotless washrooms but with albeit slow water pressure. Hot water available 24x7 with inbuilt geyser facility. 2. Windows in all rooms to let in natural light. 3.Staff attentive to your needs and super quick to respond to your request. 4.Rooms are cleaned immaculately everyday. 5. Good location in South Mumbai with easy access to all parts of the city. 6.VFM considering South Mumbai Hotel Kumkum rates. Not many better option in same range in South Mumbai. Cons: 1. No lift. Steep staircase. Problematic for senior citizens and those with knee/medical issues. 2. Too early check out time (9:30 AM) 3. Wrought iron bed not the most comfortable sound and makes creaking noise which disturbs sleep. 5. Only Veg food available in house. Quality of food is just about average compared to prices. Tip: Ask for Rooms on the first floor when making your reservation.

It's one of the best in the surrounding options with respect to family living, stay or tour, very cooperative staff, availability of all amenities eg wifi, water, tv, ac n non ac rooms, hot and cold water, cleaned bathroom, neat and clean rooms even if you reach before check in time they will manage you friendly, after check out you can deposit luggage there if you have check out and still hours to take return source. Yes the issue we have noticed about the wooden termite/bugs and bed bugs. Else very preferred. You can choose the meals at Hotel Kumkums or veg non veg both Hotel Kumkums available. Of-course the meals not cheap here compared to delhi etc.

My parents stayed here for two days and they had the best time here. The host were amazing in their reception, very flexible, reliable and helpful in all aspects. They have a cloak room and they let me keep my luggage even after check out for half day without any charges. The room was small in size but it had all the needed facilities like ac, heater, wifi and a large cupboard and it is worth staying if you are new to mumbai and doesn't know the local language.

The Hotel Kumkum is super clean and cozy, and the staff is just amazing—so helpful! Staying there feels like a home away from home. The level of comfort is top-notch, and it's evident that the staff genuinely cares about making your stay fantastic. I love that they go the extra mile to nurture a welcoming vibe. It's not just a place to sleep; it's an experience that makes you feel genuinely cared for. Overall, I can't recommend it enough!

Location was excellent. Perfectly clean rooms and washrooms, though the room and the wadhroom was small in size. Food quality was very good. The attendants were very cooperative and helpful. However for elderly couple like us it is bit difficult to climb upto third floor to the eatery through stairs. But overall it was a nice experience, staying at central mumbai at such a reasonable rate with such hospitality.

Really experienced homely atmosphere staying at Hotel Kumkum kumkum. Behavior of all staffs were very polite. Rooms were very clean. Service was really good. The manager at reception is guided us properly and his behavior is very good. Just missed the lunch as the cook was on leave and for that lunch was not available but breakfast was very healthy and tasty. Thanks to Hotel Kumkum kumkum and all their staffs

I have booked thru mmt. While check in Hotel Kumkum staff given me twin bed. As i was travel-ling with my wife i requested for double bed. He told me to join the twin bed and adjust. After complaining to mm t they provided me a room. So it was trouble for me from Hotel Kumkum side. I haven’t tasted food there so no reviews for food. Room was small but clean.

Nice, clean, cozy place to stay. Excellent location for south mumbai visitors and visitors having work around mumbai central.

Plus points - Good location, easy to get the local transport from right outside the Hotel Kumkum, clean room, good staff. Minus point - Hotel does not have the power back up facility. Hotel does not have generator. That’s worst during Summer.

It's a good Hotel Kumkum for families. The staff is helpful and cooperative. Given the budget, the Hotel Kumkum is very comfortable to stay in.

A very decent hospital located close to the mumbai central station. Well connected plae. On the main road with access to other eateries and shopping. Very clean place. Vdry good experienced staff rooms are small but it is compensated by other things

The stay is very good. I was with family. It’s very safe and convenient area for food and transport. But they don’t have a lift. We cannot travel with elder people. We had food at outside coz they serve only veg. They give only machine coffee and tea. So we had outside.

Stayed in the Hotel Kumkum for a night. Hotel staffs are co-operative and provided good service during our stay.

Very near to mumbai central station. All places are near by like chowpatty and mohammad ali road etc. Rooms were clean and staff were very polite and helps us in every way possible. My train arrives early so they provide hassel free early checkin. Only one thing is that menu in cafeteria was less otherwise all is good )

It’s a cleanness experience till our stay at Hotel Kumkum only difficulty is restaurants are not available all around the Hotel Kumkum. Otherwise sevices, amenities are good at Hotel Kumkum.
