Hotel Kunwar Residency

Location: next to laxman jhula (which is not operational) and right across the river from trimbakeshwar temple. The temple is well lit which is a beautiful sight at night from all rooms. How to reach: you can easily get a sharing auto from all major spots like nepali farm, ram jhula, triveni ghat etc. Which will drop you on main road. If you have heavy luggage, take a personal auto/scooty and go further down the main road. This route is longer but accessible by vehicles. If you have light luggage, take the market road. Market road has stairs but is a shorter route (5-7 mins walk, full of cafes and shops. From the Hotel Kunwar Residency's main gate if you go right, you'll reach sai ghat in 3-4 mins. If you go left t you'll reach laxman jhula market which ultimately leads to the main road. Room: i booked a standard room. It wasn't fancy but just sufficient for 2 people with minimal luggage. View was breathtaking. I saw their other rooms too and they were even more gorgeous! food: the in-house restaurant food was good. We tried egg fried rice, sandwich, paratha, chai in room service, didn't visit the restaurant. Quantities can be a lot so check before ordering. Other services: they offer spa services in Hotel Kunwar Residency ishan which is adjacent to kunwar residency (both Hotel Kunwar Residencys are a part of salvus. They also helped us book a rafting service which asked for 620 per person for 12km stretch and settled for 450 per person. But the experience wasn't great, so wouldn't recommend. Staff: we were attended by tarun who was a very pleasant, friendly and helpful person. He offered to keep our luggage in Hotel Kunwar Residency premises after we checked out as our return bus was at midnight. He also arranged to drop us at main road auto stand at night which was pretty helpful.

The location of the Hotel Kunwar Residency is extremely beautiful and the food given by the Hotel Kunwar Residency was really good. There is so much to explore in its location: the market, cafes, small restaurants, kulhadd wali Chai...everything was very good. The staff of the Hotel Kunwar Residency was very cordial and helpful. Planning to visit this place again and try to book this Hotel Kunwar Residency once more. 🫠🤗😎☕️

Excellent view, situated next to Lakshman Jhula (which is currently under repairs). Large, clean rooms. Very polite and courteous staff. Rajesh, the Manager, was very kind to upgrade us to a higher room category upon availability. Summit of Housekeeping was always available for even the smallest of needs. Wifi though present , was not powerful enough. They have a kitchen which serves food in the room.

We had a memorable stay at the kunwar residency Hotel Kunwar Residency in rishikesh. We got a river facing room and it was an amazing experience to wake up by the holy river ganga. The staff was warm, polite and friendly. The food was delicious and service was fast. Will definitely recommend this Hotel Kunwar Residency to friends and family. Thank you.

Location of the Hotel Kunwar Residency is amazing, right at lakshman zula but cabs don’t take you to the Hotel Kunwar Residency. You have to walk a 300-400 metres with your luggage to the Hotel Kunwar Residency. Also, verify the additional mattress charge with the Hotel Kunwar Residency as they asked for it even when they said they didn’t!

Our stay at kunwar was extremely pleasant. To start with our rooms were upgraded without extra charge. All rooms were facing ganga and what a pleasant site. Rooms were extremely clean and tidy. Staff mayank rajesh and ajay were super helpful and always ready and happy to help. Room service and food was also good

5. Driver was driving rashly, over speeding, sudden breaking and he even did an accident and then ran away driving rashly through traffic. He also charged extra money saying it was MCD charges. He did not even show how much extra kilometres were there. We were afraid for our lives!

Courteous staff, great location, good rooms. Complimentary upgrade. Direct view of ganga and laxman jhula.

The location is good but the approach road is very small and very difficult to reach. The rooms are ok with a nice view.

Hotel was good, staff were excellent but both the allotted rooms were on two different floor. Stairs are all of different shapes and sizes, which causes lot of trouble. Last but not the least this Hotel Kunwar Residency does not have any parking of it's on.

From location to food service and stay. Everything is great. Best place to stay n enjoy.
