The hotel is getting dated and does not hold the charm what it used to be when it was called Ashoka. The room looked 2 start, towels were directly, tiles coming out. Owner need to spend on updating else it will be curtains down soon

Good location, poor maintenance.

Beautiful view of the lake. Very poor maintenance. One room latch did not work. One fridge was very dirty. One room had seepage on walls. Enough toiletries and towels not given despite request. Repair not done despite repeated reminders. AC leaked onnour heads in dining room, when we changed tables one waiter shouted at us. Very unpleasant.

The hotel staff's behaviour was good and the premises was clean. However I was given room in second basement. It was very isolated, and they must not allot such a place to a single female. It seemed dangerous. The hotel room was basic, and needed quite a lot of maintenance.

I really loved the location, the ambience and the hospitality of the venue. The complimentary breakfast was like a cherry on the top of the cake. The lakeside sitting is also amazing for a late fine-dining experience.

Go to this property for great view of the lake. Stay on 3rd floor for lake view (no point staying in lower floors as the view is obstructed. Overall decent hotel and food, however property is old and not well maintained. We had 2 rooms, 1 was great with new fittings, the other one had dampened walls and seemed like a room from 80's.

The hotel is an old property, not very well maintained. Information on the property is also misleading. The swimming pool is closed for ages and it being a government run property staff is not sure when the pool will be open again. Yet the property is listed as having a functional swimming pool. Which is misleading. I booked it specifically for my swim practice only and was unable to swim.
