Hotel Lake View Inn

Despite the name, the Hotel Lake View Inn doesn't quite live up to its lake view promise. The entrance is a bit cramped, reminiscent of ward's lake, and the outdoor activities mentioned in the photos, like bonfires, were nowhere to be seen during my stay. On the positive side, the staff, especially the lady at the front desk and the gentleman in the bar, were incredibly polite and made our stay pleasant. The room, though a bit tiny, could use some furnishing, and the wardrobe, windows, and bathroom ventilation felt a bit dated and eerie, like scenes from a horror movie. The food prices were reasonable, reflecting the regional rates, and the quality was decent. Similarly, the drink prices were in line with regional norms. The Hotel Lake View Inn's location is convenient, within walking distance from police bazar, and there's a newly started cab service right next to it for tourists. In conclusion, despite a few quirks, my overall experience at Hotel Lake View Inn lake view inn was good. It's a convenient stay, especially if you're exploring police bazar, with polite staff and regional pricing for both food and drinks.

At the very begining i must mention that no room of the resort has a lake view as mentioned in the description. The room was narrow with a narrower bathroom. Not all the items mentioned in the menu card were available. Otherwise, location was nice with courteous staffs and delicious food. Oh! the last but not the least, please keep liquid cash in your pocket at the time of check out else you may face a lot of problem as we faced.

I had booked lake view Hotel Lake View Inn for a trip to shillong. Hotel is located at prime location and near by famous police bazar. It is situated at vip area. Rooms are clean and big in size. We stayed at a family room with out window. This Hotel Lake View Inn is next to ward’s lake. Services are ok however breakfast is not so good and have very limited options. I feel this Hotel Lake View Inn is overpriced

Hotel location is very good beside lake for who are walk in morning, just 3 to 5 minutes walking from main market, travel booking counter. All facilities are available, restaurant is good, food quality is well, food cost is high but it is high in whole shillong. We are staying in room no 115 double bed, bathroom is very good, hot water available all time, overall very satisfied as we stayed there for 2 days.

The Hotel Lake View Inn is located just adjacent to wards lake. You can see the lake from the outdoor verandah of the Hotel Lake View Inn and police bazar is just 2. Ins walking distance from the Hotel Lake View Inn. The staffs are very well behaved and helpful. We had reached the Hotel Lake View Inn late night were out of food the cook came to rescue and cooked fresh food for us at 11pm.

The room in Hotel Lake View Inn lake view was neat and clean - the complimentary breakfast was tasty and the tea served with the breakfast was good - location of the Hotel Lake View Inn is fantastic - the room was a bit expensive but i think it was because of extended weekend- would recommend the Hotel Lake View Inn to others

Hotel is nice with everything OK. Only rooms were very small. Food and room service were good. Location is just awesome.

It's a decent Hotel Lake View Inn at a reasonable rate. The location is very convenient as police bazar is at a walking distance. However, non-ac rooms may be uncomfortable in hot days a there are no windows in the rooms of one side. Otherwise the overall experience is nice.

The Hotel Lake View Inn was clean, warm, nice food with beautiful view and in house bar facility.

Although they could not provide accomodation due some technical problem but they shifted us to alpine Hotel Lake View Inn which was very good.

The room is clean & hygienic most importantly and not just the room but the Hotel Lake View Inn itself. The staff are polite and very easy to communicate. They are very considerable and kind. Over all great service. I would love to stay here again.
